Seems like a lot of questions surrounding this team. Panda at 3rd feels like the only sure thing.

SS - Can Crawford hit around 250? Or will Theriot end up being the answer.

2B - How long before Freddy gets hurt? Fontenot probably ends up seeing a lot of playing time here.

1B - Can Belt win the job, is Huff in shape, what about Pill, will Posey end up playing here as well?

OF - Can these guys (Pagan, Melky, Nate) hit a combined 30 HR's? I doubt it, plus we have zero depth, unless you count Huff and Belt.

SP - Obviously solid, wish they would sign Cain soon though, don't need the distraction following him and the team all season.

RP - Doubt we will ever see Wilson throw 98-99 like two years ago, can he learn to be a crafty closer? Romo seems ready to step in.

pretty much sums it up. Still, even with the questions, I feel good about the coming year.

oh yeah.....you forgot one huge question.....will buster be buster again? :?

Yeah I forgot about catcher, I went back and added it, I really like Sanchez, he's got a great swing. Whiteside & Stewart are the same player. Why are they both in camp? I thought Stewart played better last season. I have a feeling Belt & Sanchez will end up in Fresno. If they carry 12 pitchers that only leaves 5 backup position players. Theriot, Fontenot, Pill and two catchers? They need a reliable 4th OF unless Huff is our starting LF.

    is cabrera still around? :?

I think Crawford should be given PLENTY of time. He can't hit? They said the same about Matt Williams. ;)

part of the catchers job is to block the plate. always has been, always will be...unless you play for the giants.

I only recently found out...a buddy of mine played in a charity baseball tournament in AZ with proceeds going to Wendell.

I'll always remember how Wendell used to lobby people to take his autograph at spring training

It's stupid for a guy to save maybe 3 or 4 runs throughout the season when he is worth tens of millions of dollars. That's just common sense.

You can still tag a guy out without blocking the plate.
