Heading back to Daytona next weekend. Maybe I’ll get to see some cars driving fast this year. Full pit access again and in a suite at the line.

Had ridiculous Super Bowl tickets too and picked Daytona over New Orleans only being able to swing one…

You made a good choice. Enjoy the first 20 laps and the last 20. You can do whatever you want in between.

    Yeah man. Pretty excited.

saw you mentioned F1 paddock access. I had an opportunity for that in Vegas and had family travel and couldn’t go. My buddy got to be a passenger for hot laps and all.

Watched as they closed out stage 2.  Going to bed.  Better than NBA All Star joke game.

I was lucky enough to be a guest of Honda twice in Montreal. Both times it was a three day paddock pass. The level of hospitality was insane. Basically lobster and models all weekend. Vegas and Miami are a hard pass for me, unless 100% comped. I prefer Austin.

I hear the scenery is insane. Vegas was all comped, bummed I missed it.

this weekend was ridiculous. Drank all day Saturday traveling, went directly out in Daytona which turned into a LATE and ridiculous night. Track by 10. And then a long day. Ended up going back to the hotel for a nap and coming back to the race. So fucking cool though. Went through secret service security with Byron in the morning and then his pit was the one we stood at and watched a pit stop from. Michael Jordan was also in the suite next to us…was pulling for Wallace late there. Would have been fun.

Going to race is a 12 hour haul each day if you do not want to miss any action. But it leaves you with that same good feeling of having hiked all day. We walked 10+ miles each day last time in Austin. And that is with VIP parking and seats. The good thing about F1 is that there is a two hour time limit on the race. Still a long day.

Glad you had fun, that is cool.
Have had late parties on the "Redneck Riviera" in the past, with some friends who are locals, and it was fun.  A different vibe, but fun.

That last lap crash was a killer.
Had Hamlin (who had just retaken the lead at time of crash) at 16-1 to win the race.
    Those super speedways are crazy.
Next time I watch a full race will probably be Talladega.
    This weekend we rock Portland
