about the whole Who/not Who thing. Entwistle and Moon were the greatest all-time at their instruments in my opinion. That being said, Townshend and Daltrey ARE The Who, The Who were just 1,000,000 times better with Entwistle and Moon.
"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."

i enjoyed the show. the stage lights and lasers were intense. the medley was solid i think it was a solid performance for what it was

They're are playing a medley, a mash-up of:
Baba O’Riley
Pinball Wizard
Who Are You
Won’t Get Fooled Again
Yeah i kinda figured they wouldn't play the entire song, but nice selection nonetheless. I just put 5 up there that I was hoping they would play. I enjoyed seeing them. Stage and light show was awesome. Glad they didn't have "Fans" right by the stage.

First off, I wont even dignify that original comment with any further comments.
Second, while Moon is one of my biggest influences, Zak Starkey has been playing with The Who for near 15 years. He's gotten to the point where, and Pete said, the two of them are as in sync together as Pete and Keith were. Zak has been offered to become a permanent member of The Who, but he's turned them down for reasons of his own. What I'm basically saying is don't undermine what he's done with the band, and what they've done as a whole. I do, however, agree that the original lineup, OBVIOUSLY, was damn perfection as far as a bands lineup goes
They shouldn't be called the Who. They are not the Who.
I'm so with you on this! They are in no way the Who. Why can't they call themselves Townsend and Daltry?
Pete answered this in an interview around the time of the Kennedy Center Honors. He said they don't tour as Daltry and Townshend for 2 reasons: 1) using The Who name gives new listeners an awareness of the band and their musical legacy and 2) it earns money for the estates of Keith and John.
Pete himself has said that the current band is more like a Who tribute band than the actual Who. I think Pino is a more than adequate bass player who knows he's not Thunderfingers and Zak is an outstanding drummer who is more in sync with the band than anyone else has been since Keith died.
And speaking as a fan of 40+ years who saw the band in their heyday, it just drives me crazy when people say that they are not The Who! Why does nobody make this argument about the Stones, who don't have all their original members? How many drummers has PJ had?
They are the fuckin Who because the founder and only lead singer is still in the band, along with the creative force who wrote nearly all of their songs. As far as I'm concerned they can call themselves The Who as long as they want. Go see them if you ever get a chance. They can still wipe the floor with most bands.
I thought the stage was awesome. Cool to see it in a different way than with fans around them.
Stage cool, Lights cool , lasers cool. Medley of their biggest songs was very cool. I know they arent gonna play a full song. I enjoy these classic bands out there. Other bands who should play. AC/DC first and foremost. Second, Metallica. Britney Spears and Ke$ha have nothing to do with football, and neither does Justin Timberlake or Janet Jackson for that matter. I think the last few halftime bands have been good with the exception of Springsteens cheezy halftime stupidfest. Tom Petty, Prince, Paul McCartney come to mind.
Let's see those 2013 dates in the southern states.

they sounded good but Rodger has lost his voice now, awel id still go see them.
his voice sounded better tonight than i've heard in a long time, it sort of surprised me how he managed to make minimal voice cracks
I thought the same thing... his voice was rough at times, but better than what I've heard lately and the scream at the end of Wont Get Fooled Again was as great as ever. I'm very willing to forgive old rockers though.
and who cares if Pete's shirt came undone. I honestly didn't notice. rock and roll is supposed to be ugly and weird.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
I thought THEY ROCKED!!! Sure Roger's voice is not what it used to be but Pete sure was jamming. What are people going to be saying when PJ is in their 60"s? Do you think Ed is still going to hit all his notes after years of smoking? Will you still want to see them play if they can still rock or have them retire? I WILL ALWAYS want to see them reguardless...I am 51yrs. old and still remember seeing The Who with Keith Moon twice and even though I miss him (the greatest drummer ever!) I still enjoy seeing them perform just like other bands that are aging...aging just like me! I will always love The Who and look forward to seeing them whenever I can!
I'm assuming you're kidding, but really, Dave was, and is, the drummer for Pearl Jam in my opinion. I liked the others but Dave is a big part of the sound of those early albums. The others, not as much.
