Did they actually come in the same (cardboard) cases? Not jewel-boxes? I always figured BMG etc sold everything in a plastic case and always wondered what they did for PJ albums... like Riot Act is the same type of case/booklet/etc and just has BMG on the back?
For No Code & Vitalogy, they came in cardboard cases. Not sure about Yield and their releases after that.
Cardboard boxes like the regular releases.

Good work D, but in that other thread you mention light purple - in the links the bmg one looks blue and the shop bought white - can you clear up if there is a purple blue and white to your knowledge
the made at smc is just referencing that it was made by Sony music Canada
Oh and I use the term sticker above very misleadingly
the bmg direct info on the digipaks in the little window are not stickers but specially printed digipacks with that info on them - should have been more clear
also noticed that from what I have so far ( ten binural yield ) only ten has the bmg direct special cat number actually on the disc. The others just have the normal USA pressing but with the bmg direct digipack
BMG Direct even released a couple of the 2000 official bootlegs. I happen to have Jones Beach #41.
I have the BMG Direct version of Live On Two Legs, although the digipak shows some wear and the CD has some light surface scratches.

My No Code disc does not match either of these scans. I believe it is a U.S. version, but I don't know if it is a record club issue. The center hub is clear, so it is missing the "YES" and "NO" printed in red.

I'm a collector so the catalogue variances however small are important. Bmg made their own covers with the only difference being that it states just that with their catalogue number
Cool, thanks

Here is scan of my No Code CD. I am curious whether this clear, center hub is common.

Unfortunately, none of the online Pearl Jam collector discography websites contain disc matrix information that will allow me to pinpoint its origin. Everything points to it being a U.S. version. The catalog number is EK 67500 which I know is shared with issues of other countries. However, the following information is "printed" inside the outer-most black circle (like the Canadian version with different text, but unlike standard U.S. versions where text is outside of this circle):

Checking vitalogy now but it seems after this they stopped the discs and just had the packaging made

Never seen a clear center hub on No Code.
