The media has yet to question this woman as well. I would love to see her asked some real questions but you know that will never happen because she will not take questions that have not been pre screened and even then, you know what happens.

There is a reason she is belittled, she is an idiot who is incapable of telling the truth.
the media has yet to question any politician. US media is distractionary, part of the most advanced propaganda machine in the world.

True, but I feel like it is on a whole different level with her. There are a whole lot of questions and lies that remain unanswered for that the media has no interest in clearing u.

It goes back to the campaign for me. I remember Joe Biden saying that if Obama was elected we would be sure to get attacked again, and the only thing the left wing media would report on is Sarah Palins expensive clothes for two weeks. I knew then that the media had it in for this woman bad.

All I can say is that you have a faulty memory then. If by "being tested by a foreign power" means we would be attacked again, then you don't know past history with most incoming presidents having to deal with some sort of issue caused by another country/leader.

Never post here. But, I saw so many recent stories on Palin again lately I figured I would post....

    Questions to both sides here....

    -Left:

Why do you feel the need to belittle this woman if you are not intimidated by her? It's so repetitive in the media that it makes people who are on the fence or not a big fan of her, come to her defense.

    -Right:

Why do you feel like this woman is a good person to have speaking for you? Is she really the best spokesperson you have? If so, why do you believe that?

    ....now I'll go away.

There's is no intimidation....the liberals are begging for this idiot to be the nominee because she would be trounced

She will never be the nominee of the GOP....Teabag party? maybe....but imagine the GOP candidate ripping her to shreds as hard as the Dem candidate.

She is a moron. She has little understanding of big policy issues even after having plenty of time to study up and least APPEAR like she knows what she is talking about.

If Sarah Palin was 200 lbs., had regular hair, and was unattractive, she would already be forgotten about. In fact, she probably would not have made it at all. Anyone care to disagree?

i agree completely. there is a double standard, attractive people have an easier time in life. if she looked like roseanne barr spouting her views she would never have been governor of alaska....

what the fuck is your problem????? reality has NO PLACE in a Palin thread!

as for the person who asked about being intimidated by her....as i said in another thread if she had quit being governor to spend time with her family or a medical issue i'd understand and might even be inclined to say give it a rest....however, she quit being governor to push a book and be a talking head on fox op/ed, SHE is the one putting herself out there.

she does it to herself, if she would stop running her mouth and making shit up or demanding Rahm Emanuel be fired for using the word retard she wouldn't have threads talking about her being ok when conservatives repeatedly use the same word to call liberals while demanding a democrat be fired for the same thing

i wonder if LImbaugh, Hannity, Beck...would've had anything to say if Obama or Clinton had spent campaign money on clothes? i'm pretty sure they would have and i'm fairly certain someone mb or prfctlfts would've made a thread about it

its not about being intimidated. its more the idea that this idiot might be given power. shes a female george bush, and would probably kill as many people as he did. htat's what scares me.

It would certainly make for an interesting Republican primary. She's gone and riled up all of the far-right nutjobs (the people who think writing on your palm is endearing, but reading coherently off a teleprompter is elitist, and who think the government can't control it's spending yet thinks nothing of spending $500 a head to see someone with a $100,000 appearance fee criticize overspending in D.C.), so any Republican running against her will have to take her down, while offending the far right as little as possible. It's easy for her to make fun of the "hopey" "changey" liberal in power now, but what will she do when she's having to go toe-to-toe with someone who sits on the same side of the aisle as her? Can she come out and fire off juvenile insults at someone who is campaigning for the same things her far-right fans believe in? Her opponent will have no shortage of material to attack her with, but can they do so in a way that won't offend the Teabaggers? Personally, I think the 2012 Republican primary is going to be fascinating if she decides to run.

And personally, I agree with the posters who fear her getting elected. The thought of this Grade A Nutjob running a country terrifies me (has any U.S. President ever quit in the middle of a term to do a book tour and work as a pundit on a cable news channel before? Just wondering...). Though I'm not sure what worries me more - the fact that someone like her has been able to get as far as she has in politics, or the REASON she has been able to get as far as she has - because there are people out there who agree with her and get swept up by her rhetoric and will vote for her in droves.

Obama had something similar going for him during his campaign where people got swept up by his rhetoric and fell in love with his charisma, but whether or not you agree with his policies, I'd like to think that everyone can agree that he's actually a thoughtful, competent, human being at the end of the day. I'm yet to see anything from Palin that suggests she has two brain cells to rub together when it comes to politics. So I'm not sure what worries me more - the fact that there are actual Americans who think she'd make a great president, or the thought of what she'd do when she got to office. Ban teleprompters? Ban newspapers? Ban all "gotcha" journalistic questions? (her press conferences would be a treat).

But no, I'm sure she'd do a great job for the six months she'd be in office before she quits to do another book tour.

(and as for the media relentlessly bashing her - there is one cable news network that can't get enough of her. Hint: it's the one with the pundit who writes about her in his diary, and reads the diary entries to her on the air. Yes, that actually happened)
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

i can all but guarantee you that people on the left are not intimidated by her. like previously stated, the fact that she spews out tons of false information and offers NO real solutions to the problems that face our country angers me. I would take another 4 years of george w. over this lady any day and that's a scary thought. More importantly I have a problem with people in particular that never criticized the last president on spending yet bitches and moans about the obama and she appears to be their spokesperson of the future.

Never thought of things that way but I don't want to admit but I also would rather only 4 years of Dubya than any with this woman. THAT truly is a scary thought indeed. I just don't like a quitter especially when her leaving office wasn't due to health or a family emergency. For her it was more about.....SHOW ME THE MONEY and she's taking it from her own teabagger party.

The people criticizing the last president are the people in office that signed and agreed for all that spending. While they keep talking about the mess they inherited. This administration seems so childish and immature to me. Now Biden is trying to take credit for the achievements in Iraq for him and Obama.......What a fucking joke!!!!They were against the surge and they were against funding increases for the soldiers. But now that Iraq is growing(up for another debate) they want credit for it.

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin says politicians need to have thick skin "just as I've got" Which of course is hilarious since she quit as Alaska's governor complaining about her hurt feelings from Alaska's bloggers reporting on her 21 ethics violations.

I hope with all this work and travel she can hold her marriage together. More on Sarah's BS...

I agree. It wouldn't bother me at all if we never heard from Sarah Palin ever again. I would not give her my vote. I just do not hate her like alot of people do.
