I hope they have musical performances this year. Last year was kinda lame w/the Slumdog musical stuff. It was good, just not enough. I'm a hetero man, btw, but don't mind admitting this is one of my favorite shows of the year!

Hurt Locker was so full of shit...just so many holes in it.

District 9? really? the movie was so predictable and the acting so lifeless. zero character development. but hey, it's suppose to be about racism and since we have a half black president...why not give it a vote.

Maybe I need to see District 9 again cause that movie sucked to point it nearly put me to sleep. I think Precious has a better chance of winning than that awful movie.

Been texting with Senrock and her mom all thru the pre-show. Sen's mom and I have a little Oscar tradition that we didn't get to partake in this year :( Bummer.

Did anyone watch the pre-show on the e-channel and see the scroll down under that said "Pearl Jam musical guest on SNL on Saturday March 13th"? awesome :)

I've been thinking the same thing. He looks annoyed. He needs a haircut too.

not if you saw the movie, it wasnt. the first thing i said upon exiting the movie was monique deserves an oscar for supporting actress.

said it multiple times now, the acting in precious is simply the best acting in a film all year.
  • imdb twitter said a groan was heard from the international film press when they announced the best foreign film was Ojos. wonder what they wanted to win?
