Pearl Jam have already covered this song.....but I think they should do it more,...you know....for the " Free Love " Cause.
" Aussie Song " - Hunters and Collectors: Shed you Skin............and lets get started
I'm not good with what the songs called...it's of no importance.
But this is the one I'm talking about from Perth 09.
2nd encore: Throw Your Arms Around Me w/ Liam Finn-(Archer, Falconer, Howard, Miles, Seymour, Smith, Waters),

good choices so far...especially Stranglehold and any Zepp song...and if we're talkin' Zepp...
"10 years gone" would bring down the house.
second to "10 years gone" would be a Beatle's song or medley of "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window" then segway into "Lukin" in place of "Golden Slumbers".
A decade later, you make your first post... Funny stuff.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.
i was listing to "Everlong" on the way home, How cool would that be. considering the history and all, still doesn't beat "Free Bird", but i would enjoy that. :P

i would love them to do a version of The Saints - Know Your Product http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLbyaNbhHdU
think it would be challenging but they are so good at covering bands and putting their own stamp on it

if we are talking about a cover how about PJ doing a song of one of our poems or a complete song
some of you might post on here ?....what the heck if your gonna dream....dream BIG BABY !!!!
well, to continue their The Who covers theme- I never understood why they haven't done "Won't Get Fooled Again". Would love to hear how Ed and the band does that baby
100% agree. Would love to hear Ed do the scream.

I can't believe PJ has yet to play "City Slang" by Sonic's Rendezvous Band. They'd knock it out of the park.
SRB was a Michigan band led by Fred 'Sonic' Smith of the MC5. Scott Ashton of the Stooges was also a member. The band existed from 1975 - 1980 and the sum total of their recorded output during the life of the band was exactly one 7' single with the same song on both sides - and boy is it a killer. The original studio single is available on I-Tunes, but they also have a live version from the Second Chance in Ann Arbor (10/9/78) that's even more intense.
Mike would go to town on this one.

Naked Eye and The Ship Song are great suggestions.
I can't believe they never tried The Ship Song again after fucking it up at Red Rocks. But now we know Ed's still got it in his head.
As for Naked Eye... again, we know Ed can play it, but to hear the whole band do it would be amazing.
For my two cents. I'd love to hear them try Thunder Road. Or Born to Run, though I don't know how they'd get around the sax part. (short of having Clarence Clemons guest... )

Summertime,
And the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin'
And the cotton is high
Oh, Your daddy's rich
And your mamma's good lookin'
So hush little baby
Don't you cry
One of these mornings
You're going to rise up singing
Then you'll spread your wings
And you'll take to the sky
But until that morning
There's a'nothing can harm you
With your daddy and mammy standing by
Summertime,
And the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin'
And the cotton is high
Your daddy's rich
And your mamma's good lookin'
So hush little baby
Don't you cry
