Move over, Eddie Vedder - Chester Bennington is the real singer for Hunger Strike

Think how much better Temple Of The Dog would have been if Chester was doing backup vocals.

Hey, he did well. But it really woulda made more sense for him to take Eddie's parts.Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0

That sucked.0

I think, when you're job is being a singer in a professional band; you should be able to sing......you know....in key. That's not being a snob.
If that was a fan out of the audience or someone who doesn't sing for a living; I would have thought it was glorious and a wonderful experience for the fan.
But c'mon, that guy is supposed to be a singer!0 -
that was pretty good.0

I dont think "Move over" is the term here, considering this is basically a cover band doing the song. "Butting in" is more in line.
The only original memeber of TOTD in this video is Chris, and he is only a shell of his former self musically. Seriously, if you asked yourself 10 years ago what you though Chris Cornell would be doing now, would you have said putting out a solo album with a glamor shot as the cover and touring tiny venues doing old stuff with a band no one has heard of? Doubt it.
The first Audioslave album was a good step, but now he is like a modern Michael McDonald. Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate his overall body of work, but annointing Chester as a worthy replcement for Eddie because of this is a real stretch.********************************

Yeah, This guy ALWAYS seems to have a hard time 'singing' in key. Why he keeps writing all of these high screaming parts for himself when he knows he has trouble with them is just idiotic and mind-boggling. I took vocal lessons for YEARS with an opera singer. One of the first rules of singing is to sing to your strengths, not your weaknesses. Stay in your respective 'range'. This guy always sounds like he's straining to hit the notes.0

Musical Elitists.....all of you. I dont listen to Linkin Park but they have some catchy tunes that I wont shut off if i hear them on the radio. If Eddie can sing this song with Sleater Kinnery (which i think is a worse version than this), Chris can sing it with Linkin Park.0
