Good thinking Chime :D Do you need a lil' care package B?

It's o.k, I can get baked beans here but they don't have sausages and bacon, and I've never tried making bubble & squeak before. I'll just hold out until next year and the first proper breakfast I eat when I get back will be orgasmic.

Watch out greasy spoons for the return of the Byrnzie :D

Bubble and squeak is easy Byrnzie ... just fry up mashed leftover veggies. As long as there is potato and either cabbage or brussel sprouts it will work. Other veggies optional :P

Claire I'm a veggie too hence just discussing beans on toast

The only thing on there I'd eat are the eggs, sausage and beans.

Get the mushrooms outta there, pronto! 8-)

    HELL YEAH!!

I only just tried a vaporiser for the first time when I was on tour in New Zealand in November last year. It was GREAT! I'm a bucket girl myself (I believe you may call them gravity bongs?). But I'm thinking of investing in a vaporiser. 8-)

Gravity bongs are cool...I don't enjoy the stress on my lungs though. Vaporizer was a wise investment for me. I really, really enjoy it. :)

I'm asthmatic and find gravity bongs way less stressful on my lungs than bongs, pipes etc. There is less sucking -- just one bit inhale and it's over. It seems the more I suck, the more asthma I get.

My perfect way of smoking would be joints....but I quit a very heavy cigarette addiction 3 years ago and really don't want to get into a regular habit of smoking joints just in case I crave cigarettes again.

How much was your vaporiser? I'd never even heard of a vaporiser until last year! I really do want one though. My mates doctor told him that was the very safest way to smoke weed....no cancer! It smells so nice too....like mull cookies.

My mum generally just cuts up left over roast veges to make her bubble and squeak....not mashed veges and throws them in a pan with some butter so they get a bit mashy but still have form. Usually it's potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, carrots, onion and beans. Well, she calls it bubble and squeak...but on further investigation on google, it seems this isn't bubble and squeak at all...wtf mum? I've been lied to all these years!!

What does the name mean? "Bubble" and "Squeak"....makes no sense to me?

Yeah, a couple of hours after my Sunday morning smoke I usually eat bacon, eggs, baked beans and hash browns for breakfast....which is normally closer to lunch time since I don't like eating breakfast. Soooo delicious once you've got the munchies!

Yeah, but it just tastes so damn good.

I swear that there's been a few times in my life when I've eaten food so tasty that It's taken me to a higher plane of consciousness. Normally, Mexican food has that effect on me.

I totally agree with it being Mexican food or West Indian food especially since I was born there. Also if under the influence of mother earth. :D8-):D

No, it sounds pretty odd to us. We eat baked beans at banquets and family reunions or with some suspect barbeque.

I lived in the US for a while and the baked beans I had in the US aren't like the baked beans that we use for breakfast. Being veggie I didn't try Pork n' Beans but tried a tin of veggie beans and I couldn't eat them. They were much darker in colour and really sweet  ... completely not what I was expecting or used to. I guess we all get used to what we are raised eating

It squeaks? Really? What exactly is squeaking? The mashed potato?

What other veges do people use in it besides potato and cabbage?
