Actually, that photo has black pudding, which I don't like. I'd swap the black pudding for a couple of tomatoes. Everything else is right though: Fried Egg/or scrambled egg, baked beans, mushrooms, sausages, bacon, and Bubble & Squeak. Mmmmm Hmmmmm!
I think I'm suffering from English breakfast withdrawal syndrome.
Mmmmm....baked beans! That photo is my perfect breakfast....bar the black things. Actually, I'd throw hashbrowns in there too.
What are the black things? EDIT: Nevermind.

'Black pudding or blood pudding is a type of sausage made by cooking blood or dried blood with a filler until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled. It is also called blood sausage (first attested in 1868, perhaps influenced by German Blutwurst). Although "blood sausage" is often labeled as a North American term, it is also found in British English (e.g., in the story "The Name-Day" by Saki). "Blood sausage" is also used as a term for similar blood-based solid foods around the world.
Pig or cattle blood is most often used; sheep and goat blood are used to a lesser extent. Blood from poultry, horses and other animals are used more rarely. Typical fillers include meat, fat, suet, bread, sweet potato, barley and oatmeal.'
I love a good black pudding, or rather a 'boudin noir' like in France. A lot less fat!
I know it's not the same as getting your fry-up at a greasy spoon, but you could make it yourself, couldn't you? Maybe in China you don't get the sawdust breakfast sausages, but there must be alternatives!
You gotta come back for a visit big B!!!! We'll all take turns buying you a pint and a fry-up!

I love black pudding. And white pudding for that matter. Hate mushrooms though. And the Irish breakfast tends to have fried spuds and no beans. But the important parts are the sausages and eggs.
Either way, Long live the big saturday morning fry!
ok black pudding is soooooooo nice with poached eggs on granary bread or a muffin..
but the baked bean issue ..english eat more beans then any other country..you could start a forum on the best beans..branston bloomin big baked beans are my fav.bets heinz hands down..
take away the beans and the tomatoes and I'll add sliced fried haggis and fried tattie scones
basically this ...
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
Y'know i live in England but i've never tried black pudding. It looks horrible :?
I've tried it and it really is quite horrible, white pudding on the other hand is yummy.

The only thing on there I'd eat are the eggs, sausage and beans.
But we ALL know Beanz Meanz Heinz
Coffee, juice and the morning paper.
My parents served me black pudding once a fortnight, but I would hide it in the small rip in my dining chair.......that was later SOLD!
The perfect hangover cure
Heinz for me too!
