    all i know is i'm gonna be juuust about piss drunk walking into the theater tomorrow night. old school. been waiting 9 years, i'm going to enjoy the fuck out of this movie one way or the other.

    .....i enjoyed it. the reviews i read were pretty accurate in that it's clearly not as good as the first one, but still decent as far as sequels go. funny throughout, though probably not as quotable as the original and a good 15 minutes longer than it needed to be. looking forward to seeing how it fairs during subsequent viewings.

    a little less brick, and a little less morality (this is not the kind of movie that should be trying to make any kind of a statement) and they could have nailed it.

    if you liked the first one, you will like it. if you didn't like the first one, you will probably hate it....

    looks like it's going to do well enough for them to make a 3rd. anyone else see it yet?

    How can you say that? For the age Applegate is I think she looks great.

    And as to this movie, I think the problem is the hype caused by those who weren't old enough to enjoy the first one the first time through. Think about it - which makes me feel incredibly old - the 20 year-old stoners now we're fucking 10, 11 when this originally came out. Jesus.

    Also, I don't go to the movies anymore when there's a shit ton of people there. That's too much for me. Gimme a matinee with the old people, or a weekday show, and a smuggled 6-pack of Dale's. Now you're talkin'...

    Believe me, I'm a huge Applegate fan and I agree with you that she still looked good as she's gotten older...up until this one. She just looked a lot older to me. And shes not really that old too...40 ish? The hotness of the other chick doesn't do her any favors either.

    I found it funny but I felt it really had no flow to it. I loved his shocked/surprised sayings. The first one will always be favorite comedy movie along with "Dumb and Dumber."
