And Furries are those people who like to dress up as animals (mascots) and have sex with each other, right? Thank goodness the only mascot I ever had to be was a helicopter (but it was a furry thing)...

Ha, I've been going back and forth as I go through the thread probably 4 or 5 times. I always thought it was furry too for Ishmael. But now I have switched over. Any other arguments to convince me otherwise? This argument wins in 5..4..3..2..1...

i read an interview w/ eddie a few years back where he was at a hotel and some guy was interviewing him and eddie was on his Mac....and the guy asked what are you reading...and eddie answered, " I'm just reading what they're saying about us today."

for some reason i took it as he was checkin the threads here....just my thoughts...

I could claim Ed is really singing "do the apple-lution," but just making is *sound* like "evolution." Doesn't make it true ...

What I will concede is this:

Ed has a history of writing lyrics that could be sung in different ways -- "violins" vs. "violence" in Daughter, "innocents" vs. "innocence" in I Am Mine.

That could be what he's doing here. But on the studio version of this song ... it sure sounds like "furry thing" to me ...

Don't you just love it. This is one of the most reasons why I absoulety love this band. Just the different ways Ed can sing things. It's really fun at live shows.

Um, Stone, Now when I listen to this song, I Like to think that Ed is singing about you. You are now a very "furry" Thang:D From one fur-ball to another.
