I'm really starting to hate this band's touring (or lack there of).

Sick of the f'in east coast and west coast, there is a lot more in the middle.

Is this what happens when you get old, have a family, and start caring about $

I definitely do agree with that middle part... they tend to rely heavily on the east and west coast these days. You can do a nice midwest tour and get some quick $$ and thats the same with the SE,SW and possibly even the South.

I guess they know where they can sellout shows fast and hit a bunch without too much moving around.

they've played seattle 50 times, so i guess ny really isnt played the most.
but of course they played seattle alot when they were a small band, woulda been awesome to see those shows.
ummm he was asking east coast shows not all time. most cities are played alot cause of the bands large scale club tours back in 91-94. i wish they would go back to those days.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight

First again with the news. Pearl Jam are set to make US fans happy. Well at least on the east coast. With 6 shows planned. From May 11th-. Shows are not even booked with the arena's as yet. But these shows should be confirmed by the band in the next few weeks.

Who's first again with the news?

Help a brother out. Are the Yankees in town during a possible NYC show? I know you said earlier than the May 22nd rumors on this board.

They need to play the JPJ Arena in Charlottesville. It's become the premier indoor venue in Virginia for large acts to play and the idea of driving an hour would be such a nice change of pace!

It'll be NYC, Boston, Philly, ect.

    blah

No disrespect to the fans or the city of Philadelphia, but I hope to fuck they don't play Philly. Show some love to other east coast cities. And I don't mean fuckin Camden, NJ either. I was thinking more along the lines of Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, Birmingham, Raleigh, Richmond, Nashville etc. I know some of these cities were visited by Ed alone but I bet PJ would be welcomed with open arms. I just think the Philly area is the most played East Coast area, or NYC. Too lazy to look it up.

The source is taking a bunch of posts on here and trying to piece together a theory that makes sense... if they had a real source this would have some actual detail instead of a bunch of vague references we already knew!

At least on person on here with an actual source tells us who it is TY Mr Hof for being honest. What is so funny is that people come on a message board and say i have info but i can't tell u were it came from. Like the person who told u reads this board. I just find it funny maybe it's just me.

ur welcome jamminpearls. ...and please, no need for "Mr". "The" Hoff is fine.

...btw, it was 2.5 months ago the "flowers" thread was put up. i think october 30 2009.

I was intentionally vague on dates for a reason... source protection so to speak... but ill probably update my original thread with more specific info (though if u read my posts thru the thread, it adds up).

...and 6 msg dates are not being sought. though their requested holds involve 6 dates.

If true, it will be extremely disappointing that there are only 6 dates. Since 2-3 shows should be played in NYC and Boston, that doesn't' really leave too many other possibilities. I don't see how the can skip DC. So that's basically 6 shows right there (NYC x3, Boston x2 and DC). Hopefully, if true, there will be another cluster of shows in August that hit places like Pittsburgh, Detroit, Cleveland and Montreal.

If you read his previous posts he source appears to be a "friend in NYC." Although he has made a few claims about getting true info from this "source" there is nothing that he has actually posted BEFORE it was announced. He's also predicting T in the park in Scotland in July. I guess we will find out shortly if this source is for real.

Is it possible these 6 holds are what the original poster is hearing about or whatever? I'd be really surprised if PJ only hit up 2 other cities besides N'awlins. I've got faith in em! They are going to give ATL some love... just don't do it the same weekend as jazzfest!

Ur my hero hoff. I mean shit to post the thread first, man that makes u my hero.. Dude, who fucken cares u posted it first. U think ur the only who knew about it before anyone else? It doesn't take a scientist to pretty much figure it out. I mean cone on bro, just look at the history of when pj usually play the east coast. It's usually anywhere from spring into summer. Take into consideration the Europe dates and it wouldn't be that hard to generlize when they'd be playing NA. I told my gf way before u posted that thread that I'd bet they'd be playing eastcoast in the spring. This community has become a joke of sorts. It's this whole idea of who's the bigger pj fan. Look at all the people on this site who write down all the shows they attended to show that they ate the biggest fan out there. It's the whole " I have a bigger dick then u" shit talking. Who cares who said ut first. Who cares who's gone to more shows. Who cares who has the bigger dick.. It's about the music and it should always be about the music. I guess I should be like almost everyone inthe community. I should list all 59 shows I went to. I should write about all the times I met the boys and all the records I have and all the BLAH BLAH BLAH.... I bet the boys read these posts and threads and just shake there heads at us all. Does being the first to post this thread make u any better then anyone else in the community?? No it doesn't. Honestly, some of u in the community scare me. It's like all u guys do is eat sleep shit pearl jam. What is ur world going to consist of if this great band ever calls it quit? All I'm saying is this community has become very comical. I wonder what the boys really think about all of us when they read threads and posts like these. Do u guys ever wonder how u look to others? Ever wonder how many die hard fans who dnt publisize all the shows or share all there info look and think about u?? Do u guys even care that I'd say prob 80% of us laugh at people who "brag" about all there so called knowledge of the band?? Who cares??? Go to the shows , enjoy the kick ass music and please have a life outside of pearl jam...I know it mite be hard to imagine, but there is a life outside of pearl jam. I love this band just as much as everyone else, but sometimes I have to comeback to reality and realize there's more to life than pj....there's much more than this. A lot more. See u all at the shows and hey, take care of ea other.
