    Actually, that's not unusual. At our high elevation, we get a lot of snow & have many ski resorts, etc. It's more strange that it's still so warm in mid-October (though I'm not complaining!). What's most freaky to me, though, is that it could change from one extreme to another & back again so quickly. We always say about this area, "If you don't lik the weather, just wait 15 minutes & it will change." But it's not usually quite this extreme. Been getting more so over the past several years though. One April a few years ago, when it had been in the 80s for awhile and all the flowers had already bloomed, we got this huge snow storm that shut down the city & knocked down the trees. It was crazy to me to see trees covered with spring flowers fallen from the weight of all the snow & ice.

    It looks and feels like November here. Raining, cold, dark, leaves are dropping, forget about changing in colour.

    By the time it hits 7pm, it looks like midnite. Bring on the S.A.D.
