Had most of it done years ago. They planned on taking all 4, but after using all of the novacaine that they had alloted for 4 teeth, they were only able to wrestle 2 of them out. Dentist said that was all the drugs I was allowed in one sitting... funny as hell with him practicaly sitting on my chest grunting and sweating to get the crooked bastards out!

I was back to chewing Copenhagen in about 6 hours and never changed my diet over to soup.

BTW, i quit that nasty habit about 9 years ago.

I've had all four removed at once. The worst part was the tylenol and codeine they gave me. I had a nasty reaction.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

I had all 5 removed at once. Yup. I had an extra. I don't remember a thing, that was 12 years ago. I was knocked out.

Nah your just more evolved than most!!! I had 3, my cousin had 2...so we're thinking in our kids generation that they should possibly have only 1 or none. Evolution baby!!!

On Thursday morning, I am getting all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. 2 are impacted, and 1 is "fused"into my nasal cavity.

I know it's going to be bad when the Surgeon says I will experience "a great deal of discomfort". :o

Wish me luck. I know I am being a huge wuss, but I am really nervous.

I had all 4 taken out a few years ago. 2 were impacted. the important thing in healing well is to constantly rinse with water.

    yum!
the no straws thing does suck.
    glad you're doing well.

i had all 4 of my wisdom teeth surgically extracted, all at once, probably when i was 24-25. it was easy, under GA. i was scared b/c i had never gone under before, but man, it was fine! the drugs afterwords were awesome too. i used to smoke back then and was told not to due to the whole dry-socket possibilities, but i admit, i did smoke. otherwise, i followed all the after-care to the letter. i think within a week i was right as rain.
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

Are they knocking you out? Anesthesia tends to make act a little strange coming out of it. Apparently I was singing along to the Fleet Foxes all the way home. I had no clue there was blood dripping out of my mouth. I do remember that I was pretty happy most of the day.

Yes I was asking for a balloon before I left according to my mom.... Of course I sort of remember the assistant telling me to take my time getting up. Then I remember her telling me okay you got to go now, so I through up on her after warning her I wasn't ready...
