I might go to the philly show, depends on how much tix are. Also is there an opener? Couldn't find anything.

Not sure about an opener…haven't read anything about that. Might try and make the show in Louisville…we have some friends who live out there and have been looking to visit them.

Just got GA seats for the Chicago show! Too bad the concert is 9 months away.
  • Had no idea these were on sale already. I'm definitely waiting to pick mine up... That's a long time till the Philly show.

Just a presale today for people who pre-ordered the new album. I think regular on sale is Friday. But yeah, it's pretty ridiculous to buy concert tickets 9 months in advance. But I'd rather pay now than get fucked on stubhub in a few months.

Arcadefire.com presale- just put password "reflektor"

I did it 2 hours after they went on sale so only 200 sections left for Barclays. I would have done it for GAs. I will wait until the week of show to see what I can pick up.

Can someone help me understand what is so awesome about this band? I keep trying but I hate them more every time I listen to them. Terrible songs, terrible musicians, they look like the entire McPoyle family. I really need some input!

I guess everyone has their own opinion but i find them to be a very inventive band. I will admit that I am not getting into reflexor yet but that tends to be the issue I have with all their records. what have you heard so far from them?

Umm yeah, I don't think I'll be wearing formal attire or costume. I get what they were trying to do with all the small shows, but to expect an arena full of people to dress up??? That's a little much.

I dont know, I think alot of people are going to dress up. LCD soundsystem did something similar as did Flaming Lips. If they come to my town, I will definitely dress up.

I think its cool. I think its only going to add to the music and the shows.

Well at least you are approaching the music without any bias.

I like to have fun in my own clothing. 95% of people in Barclays are NOT going to dress up.

This is a rock show, not school.

With the exception of The White Stripes, they are the only band that has put out nothing but great albums over the last 15 or so years. I guess everyone has their own opinion but damn these guys are as close to perfect as you can get. They do things on their terms, their own way and are one of the most innovative bands out there today. I mean they had an album of the year and didn't rush to take advantage and put out a shitty album like Mumford.

Oh and I will be most definitely dressing up. I mean I rock a suit to work so heading over to the show will be a breeze.

I think people miss that you can wear a costume instead.

People (not saying you or anyone here, but everywhere else for sure) seem to be hung up on the formal aspect of it. This is the way it was for the promo shows, its not any different here. Just more people having to do it.

Also, at the warmup shows they handed out masks if you didn't dress up.
