I'm resurrecting this thread, as last night I attended The Who concert and the vibe reminded me of a PJ show but as my friend pointed out, lots of gray and bald heads!
LOL, I love to hang with old hippies!
At least The Who plays Phoenix more often than PJ does! :P
Plus because of this show I got to meet a young lady who goes by the moniker "Hunger Strike" on these boards and who may be in this "fans over 40' group.
Sandra, I'm aka brainofkjf on ebay and a few other sites. It was nice to meet cha!
Cheers,

I'll be celebrating 60 at Wrigley and will be returning to Chicago 2 weeks later for my annual trip to Lollapalooza. Was kind of hoping for PJ at Lolla but a non-festival PJ show at Wrigley works for me!Be kind whenever possible.
It is always possible.0 -

I am 42...and this is my first ever post on a board after years of lurking.
Mom of 4, primary school teacher, and avid PJ fan.
Have been a fan since very early 1992 when my boyfriend's friend handed me a BASF cassette onto which he'd recorded Ten for me, and said, "Listen to this, it's your new favourite band. I promise." He was not wrong!
Have seen them 6 times, first in August 1993, most recently in Sept. 2011 (not counting RNDM in Nov. 2012), hoping for a 7th this summer- trying my luck with public on-sale, having been shut out in the lottery :? .Montreal 1993, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2011
Toronto 1996

My doctor mentioned he wears them every few years. He did not mention what kind of shoes and why it was relevant. He is Valedictorian from Notre Dame, and I guess he's not very happy about college football.

This makes me smile for so many reasons: Mom of 4, teacher, avid PJ fan. I can relate! just turned 40, mom of 2, also work in the schools
Love these words from Eddie at his Vegas show on 11/1/12 when talking about "Just Breathe:" "That's not just a love song written for a good woman who deserves it, or just on a romantic level...it's actually more about... a love song for a woman who's uh uh a mother who's unselfish and gives so much to her kids. um... It's kind of the only way it can be... and that's.. the dad can follow the lead."
and Eddie in the Iconoclasts episode with Laird Hamilton: "Can't get mad too at the wind, it's like getting mad at your mom... can't do it."
Wish I knew more PJ fans with family, if only to commiserate our limited time & funds to see Our band and to talk about the way their music has changed since four of five are now dads.
I'd go nuts without the boots to relive & imagine.Lollapalooza @ Great Woods 8-8-92~~CU Field House 11-26-93~~Red Rocks 6-20-95~~Randall's Island 9-28-96~~Randall's Island 9-29-96~~Columbia, Maryland 9-24-96~~EV solo Hartford, CT 6-18-11~~EV solo Albuquerque, NM 11-6-12~~ Denver 10-22-2014~~Fenway II 8-7-20160 -
