Suits me fine, too, justam!
I'm 47 and hail from the Sunshine State, as well.
I've followed the band from the beginning, and now my teenage daughter's borrowing my PJ cds to load on her iPod--where does the time go?!
To echo what some of the others have already said...I think the music keeps you young. I'm in the best shape of my life, still have the craziest sense of humor, and appreciate new life experiences much more than I ever have. Age is a state of mind.
I agree. Age is a state of mind.
I was having a tough time with my birthday this year. I turned 50 this March and it freaked me out. :?
However, one day I realized it's okay. I'm that age outside but I'm still me inside so... it's just a number.&&&&&&&&&&&&&&0 -

They opened for Chili Peppers and Nirvana (concert of a lifetime!). Within a year, I was at my third show, all in Phoenix, and a fan for life.
have never missed a show that was in my town, and done some drives as well.
coming up? New Mex Eddie shows. a 6 hour venture from Denver, which will be awesome!
also, your name was Pumpkin head, correct? Is that a reference to Smashing Pumpkins? am also a BIG fan of them. Interestingly, the tour I mentioned above... Smashing Pumpkins toured the first half of that tour, and Pearl Jam took over the second half. Nirvana were even openers, and Chili's headlined. They were at the height of their powers touring on Blood Sugar Sex Magic. God, what a time for music that was. What a great time to be in college.2009 Philly Spectrum 10/28

so now someone gotta start a fan 30 to 40 thread
Seriously!! :(
I see the "over 40" and "under 30" but no "30-something" club which I'm sure a LOT of us are in. I know I am, my husband is in the "over 40" club....just turned 40 in January...but he's old
Sidenote to the OP I just have to comment that "Pumpkinhead" was my son's name for his very first teddybear when he was a baby. We still have it now 17 years later and everytime a see one of your posts I picture him. So in my head you're a cute little green teddy bear.2009 Philly Spectrum 10/28
