I've decided I'm going even if we get good news about closer shows. It's a very long drive but it's on a weekend I can definitely go and that is worth a lot to me.

They will have a secret hotel that is guaranteed to be 4 stars. I have done this 2wice with them and have not been dissapointed. The one time I did it in New Orleans It was right on Bourbon Street for a really good price.

No, Not at all.

You have tons of choices and one of them will be the secret hotel. i called and ried to get this young lady to give it away but she wouldnt. She just said, trust me, our secret hotels are nice. Man was she right. It was the The Crowne Plaza and it was like 60 bucks per night. It obviously might be different now but I have been satisfied.

I wish I was going. Whatever you do. Get a hotel within a block of Bourbon Street. Everything happens there. You can travel to the Jazzfest but when it is done you will be on Bourbon Street.

cool- do they list the prices and hotel names or is it just by the stars and location?

Justam- were you the one that told me that you were staying at a hotel near the airport? What was the name again of it?

That's me. I got a room at the Hilton by the airport. I'll be driving from Florida. Use to live in New Orleans in the 1980s. I wanted somewhere safe. I mentioned in on another thread. I won't be drinking (accept in room) so if a 10c member needed a safe ride I'd be available.
