Shams confirming The Juggler's reporting about Embiid being on track to play tonight.

Plan is to have Timelord run him ragged.
On offense, you are better off having Horford space him out of the lane.
    I'm thinking in transition.
    Okay.

I am wondering if they try doubling him to death like the Nets did. I don't think the Celtics usually do that to him.
Celts don't usually use the hard double like the Nets. Will flash a wing at him and keep them close enough to the perimeter to recover to their man usually.
Yeah you're . I'm just wondering if they might switch things up to confuse him and make him work harder due to his injury though.
A good coach might try that.
    So I don't expect it.

The rust is thick on 21, also waiting for him to trust his legs. If that doesn't happen then I don't feel great about this return. Can't play halfway.

Also, everyone missing every 3 and Maxey already at 3 fouls ain't great.

Yeah that's a wrap. Sit 'em, no need to risk anything happening to him.

Much rather get blown out than to play Jo 40+ and lose by 8.

Shook the rust and looked spryer than I anticipated. Got the split. Go time tomorrow.

Having Tatum play as poorly as he could possibly play and losing by only 34 should fill Sixer fans with confidence.

    Looking forward to Friday.

Your team lost to an MVPless Sixers in Game 1.

Indeed, tomorrow night should be fun.

Yep. Game 1 was embarrassing no doubt. Tipped the hat to Harden. he was great. Then he stunk last night. Wonder if there's something to Barkley's assessment of how he plays differently when Lion Killer is on the floor.
I expect better out of Embiid and better out of Tatum this weekend. We'll see how it shakes out (my guess is a split).

Harden's 3's wouldn't fall (a couple ridiculous rim-outs) and it just spiraled from there.

I'd love to see B-ball on the floor with JoJo and I'd like to see more (any) Shake - definitely over that stiff Niang. (his passing on the open 3 was a big turning point, along with Embiid's missed alley oop)

You'll see  BBall out there with Jo if they're up. Niang was on the court for offense, which was one of the more confounding things to see - he gets the ball, gives up the 3, only try and drive those stiff legs to the basket. And yep I'd say right around there is when you could see things sinking altogether.

They took one of two in Boston, which is exactly what I wanted, can't argue with that. I don't see Boston going 20 for 51 (!!!)  from 3, and the Sixers going -5 on the TO differential. Absolutely horrendous 3rd quarter, but it's all fine. Embiid shook a lot of rust off and they're back home. I don't think you can ask for more than that.

Definitely think there's something to the idea of Harden going into a game thinking of himself as "facilitator" or "scorer" and how that mental decision trickles down the rest of the game.

Didn't see what Chuck said. I love the guy but his word, while usually humorous and entertaining, means not a whole lot to me.

He lead the league in assists while putting up 21 ppg and our offense with both of them on the floor was tremendous all season long. We don't need Houston Harden. We need the 22/23 Harden.
