But what if he re-injures it?

If we win game 2, do we rest him game 3?

Do we have any shot at game 2 without him?

So many tough decisions.  I wouldn't hate it if he played and we won.  I wouldn't hate it if we rested him AND Harden for game 2.  I'd REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hate it if he played and we lost.

I'll only hate it if he plays and makes the injury worse.

If he can play, it's a playoff game, and you have to play to win every playoff game. Maybe he can more evenly split tie with B-Ball to ease him in a little. He could reinjure himself or suffer another injury at any time. All I'm saying is, don't hold him out because "we are happy to get a split in Boston" - that's loser stuff there.

With already winning, one advantage to playing him would be he could work some of the rust out in a game we're not expecting to win. Then, assuming good health, it is go time once we get back home.

Again, I'd keep him out till Friday if it were me though.

This is the "split time with B-Ball" scenario. If he plays, maybe not super well, and we lose it's not a tragedy, as we did get the road win. But I mean it's not like you can definitely count on winning all 3 home games. The C's probably get a game where they can't miss from the suburbs.

I did not mean counting on all 3 home games. I meant having him be a closer to 100% of himself starting with game 3 might put us in better position to win the series than with playing him tomorrow night and taking the risk that he hurts it further or ensures it won't get any better in a game you don't need quite as much than if they had lost last night.

Kinda surprised. Hopefully he doesn't reinjure himself by coming back too early.

On offense, you are better off having Horford space him out of the lane.

    Okay.

I am wondering if they try doubling him to death like the Nets did. I don't think the Celtics usually do that to him.

Celts don't usually use the hard double like the Nets. Will flash a wing at him and keep them close enough to the perimeter to recover to their man usually.

Yeah you're . I'm just wondering if they might switch things up to confuse him and make him work harder due to his injury though.
