This team isn't there yet. Gotta tighten it up here. Glenn's gotta stop fuckin' around with these rotations.

yeah i agree with ya. Still a handful of game left to get clicking.

Tomorrow's game is huge. I want that 3 seed.

Ya I guess the 3 would be the best.  Avoid Brooklyn Round 1, and if Brooklyn beats the #1 seed in round 1, then they'd play the #2 seed in round 2.  3 would be nice.

It's so tough to project where team's will end up though. Nets could easily end up in the 7th seed. They also could easily lose their play-in game. lol.

The East is crazy. No real dominant team just about 5-6 really good squads. It's as deep as I can remember it being.

    Not how it works.
If Brooklyn wins the first game of the play in (which we'd have to assume is likely), they become the 7 seed and would play the #2.
If they win that series, they would then play winner of 3 vs 6 matchup. NBA doesn't reseed.
So, to avoid Brooklyn as long as possible, a team should shoot for the one seed, but if Brooklyn loses play-in game #1, then wins game #2, they become the 8 and play #1.
So it's pretty tough to plan out.

I guess I should pay attention to the play in format. I just thought it was winner of 7/8 gets the 7 seed and winner of 9/10 gets the 8 seed. lol

Winner of 7/8 is the 7. Loser plays the winner of 9/10 for the 8.

Looking at the replay it doesn’t look like that would have went much better.

The real issue here is that Doc let Giannis steam roll us with our worst players on the floor. Go take a look at Paul fucking Millsap’s stats. He was so awful and doc just continues to let him drown out there. Meanwhile Bball Paul rots on the bench after a solid showing against Giannis earlier in the year. Unreal.

This whole thing with these refs staring at a screen for 3 minutes and then overturning a perfectly good call is really pissing me off. You got 45 seconds then shut the damn screen off.

Yep. End of 3rd, beginning of the 4th is when they went on their big run.....while Embiid and Harden were mostly on the bench.

Glenn (I am now refusing to call him Doc moving forward) is a robot. He refuses to deviate from his set rotations no matter what the game dictates.

The league is on a mission to influence refs to stop calling fouls when guys foul Embiid & Harden. So there's that.

Well if he doesn't get MVP (he should), he's back atop the scoring leaders. Lebron appears to be tanking the rest of the season to win that one. lol

Doesn't he need to play in 2 more games to qualify?

Maybe. I don't know what the minimum amount is.

Been over 20 years since a center led the league in scoring. I hope Jo gets it.

    Jokic is winning MVP.
9th in scoring, 2nd in rebounding, 8th in assists (a center), #1 in player efficiency rating Highest in NBA history).
And leading Denver to the playoffs while Jamaal Murray has missed the entire season and Porter played in all of 9 games.
    Shoo in.

Yeah, he is the favorite at the moment and they'll probably give it to him again.

I think there is something to be said for how Embiid held the team together until the Harden trade though. I realize Jokic was missing Murray and Porter but the circus of the Ben Simmons situation would have derailed most teams' seasons and he absolutely refused to let that happen while putting up monster numbers every night and making his teammates better.

I think the Nuggets being 16-25 or so against teams over .500 should come into play too.
