Swollen left elbow. To be reevaluated on Sunday. HOPE he can play as they have the Cavs, Washington, Celtics and the Pistons the next 4 games.

Cavs +2.5 last I saw now.  Feel like that is free money, but what the hell do I know.

No match. Dumb basketball. Played scared and couldn't shoot. Embiid shouldn't be allowed to shoot a fade away until he's shot at least 10 FT's.
    Alright, alright, alright!

Back to back this week. I'd sit Embiid against the Wiz since Wall is out. Have all hands on deck for Boston Thursday...

Report: 76ers expected to try to recruit LeBron in free agency

    by William Lou 2h ago

Every team in the league will come calling if LeBron James decides to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers next summer, and the Philadelphia 76ers are no exception.

League executives told Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today that they expect Sixers general manager Bryan Colangelo to make an attempt at recruiting James if the superstar decides to take meetings next summer.

Philadelphia only has $67.4 million in committed salaries for next season, which leaves enough room to sign James to a maximum contract and add another reputable free agent next summer. They would have to renounce some free agents to carve out this room, but letting go of J.J. RedickAmir Johnson, and Jahlil Okafor is a small price to pay if James wants to sign.

The Sixers also boast a boatload of blue-chip prospects who are under team control. Joel Embiid and Robert Covington are locked into long-term pacts, No. 1 picks Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz remain on their inexpensive rookie-scale contracts, and the Sixers still boast a surplus of picks to deal.

Philadelphia's situation would hold much of the same appeal that Cleveland did in 2014 when James wrapped up his tenure with the Miami Heat - without the homecoming angle, but with the same bounty of draft picks and young, game-changing talent.

Signing with Philly would also allow James to remain in the less competitive Eastern Conference, a benefit the Los Angeles Lakers can't offer.

I go through Google Play's podcast, but here's the website: https://www.theringer.com/the-jj-redick-podcast

Yeah, I got a Google News update of some site I've never heard of telling me how they'll be aggressive after Lebron, and all I could think is: 1) Google is aggregating news articles like Facebook now (damnit) 2) Duh - I would think going after Lebron next year isn't a crazy idea.

    Thanks for The Ringer Link.

I don't think it's a crazy idea either. I mean why NOT? 76ers have the Cap-space money and ther only going to get better. I didn't think they could be 11-8 with the tough schedule to start this season.

I love Philly.  You people know I love Philly. I REALLY do not see Lebron leaving Cleveland for the city of Philadelphia, regardless of the basketball situation.   I would love it, but it ain't happening.

If he does leave for anywhere, who do Cleveland fans hate?  Lebron or Gilbert?  Kinda feel like Lebron has won them back completely and that they would blame the organization if he leaves.

Nah, man. Dude I know who was living out there said the city is starting to turn on Lebron - they think he's being a whiny bitch and they're not good, or will be no good, because he forces other great players (Kyrie) out.

The point is there's "stirrings" that he wants more rings before he retires and he'd like to play with the Lakers. But if he looks at both rosters within his window the Sixers have the better structure to give him those rings than a team like the Lakers.
