I missed the 1st half due to travel but Jo and Jimmy need to show up to have any chance. Their best player was great, ours was awful.
Yep. Doesn’t matter who the coach is if your best players get outplayed.

    No Michael Scott tonight again.

Cut down on the TO's and it's over early. Ben was great defensively but some of his passes made me scratch my head. He also seemed passive near the hoop.
    Alright, alright, alright!

I laugh every time I see Lowry flop. So that's basically every time he has the ball.

I know Kawhi was guarding him but on offense he looked way too passive again. Clear looks to the basket, contested looks at the basket--doesn't matter. He's always looking to pass. Get aggressive and go up STRONG like in the last four verses the Nets. Draw a foul. I mean he's been making his foul shots. I love Ben but this is what can be frustrating. We need that aggressive consistency every time out in the playoffs.

To win without much of anything from Embiid again (until the end--that spin move verse Gasol and that assist for a Butler three were as clutch as you can get) and not much from Ben offensively is pretty encouraging. They would have had no shot winning this game last year.

Ennis huge off the bench again. I also forgot Monroe played for Toronto this year so he's valuable just for that experience.

Why the heck is embiid sick as much as he is? Sixers need to keep him in quarantine between games. Tough loss.

If the dude is that sick (and he looked like he was dragging ass the entire game), he shouldn't have played, and certainly shouldn't have been on the floor down the stretch to make all the above bad plays. That is on the coach.

And Juggler, what were you yelling at Lowry about? (Great seats you have there).

Yeah but Greg Monroe was terrible and at least Embiid always gives you good defense....and has come alive in the clutch offensively so many times at the end of games he has struggled in. You gotta keep him in there.

And I love Lowry. Wasn't me.

I understand that, but when your center is at about 15% of his usual self and you have a 7'3" dude on the bench, he should get more than 0.5 seconds of floor time defending an end of quarter inbounds pass.

1% of Embiid is better than 110% of Boban.

and another thing that annoys me about the NBA. the stupid non-city bullshit on the uniforms like Toronto having North yesterday.  North, the Town, the Land...just idiotic.

Eh, Golden State had uniforms like that back in the 60's and 70's though.

Bigger issue for me is the amount of uniforms and how the home team isn't designated to wear white like they have been for all of eternity until Nike took over. My wife is really annoyed how I complain about that every time the Sixers wear blue at home. It just doesn't look right!

i prefer white at home as well.  Hell the NHL changed to dark uniforms at home about a decade ago and I still can't get used to it.

But that was a switch back to the way it was in the old days. Teams used to wear colored unis at home until the 70's then switched to white, then switched back recently.
