of the parts i saw he showed off serious skills for sure. why Henderson got the ball on the last possession i can't understand though. still about a 19 win team but at least they might appear to be an actual NBA team this year.

Yeah going to Henderson made no sense to me either.

So excited for this squad's future...

That was so exciting. I chose Embiid over the WS. I didn't watch a pitch. He was awesome. I still question Brown's late game coaching, even though I know we don't have the most talented roster. Double barrel guy, while slightly humorous, got what he deserved by getting tossed.

    Loved the chants.
    Alright, alright, alright!

"You know how I learned to shoot? I watched white people. Just regular white people. They really put their elbow in and finish up top. You can find videos of them online."

    God bless Joel Embiid.

so the gutless loser organization caved and apologized to Sevyn (parents must have been Seinfeld fans) and will let her back to sing the national anthem. why have a contract that says you can't do something political during the Anthem then cave? because the players complained? ridiculous in my opinion.

Probably won't be a good situation if she comes back. Some people will boo her.

Is it wrong that I get really excited when Joel is on the court?

Ersan Ilyasova traded to the 76ers for Grant

    http://www.thescore.com/news/1143626

The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded forward Ersan Ilyasova to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for forward Jerami Grant, sources have told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Thunder had been pursuing a trade for Grant for months, Wojnarowski reports.

The 76ers will also receive a protected first-round draft pick from the Thunder in the bargain, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe. The protections on the pick are comprehensive, likely rendering it a second-rounder down the road, according to Wojnarowski.

On top of acquiring a player they've long been after, the Thunder will get out from under Ilyasova's $8.4-million contract. They take back Grant's non-guaranteed deal, which is worth just under $1 million this season, and comes with a team option for 2017-18 at $1.05 million. Ilyasova will be an unrestricted free agent at season's end.

Under former general manager Sam Hinkie, Ilyasova likely would've already already been waived by now, but the Sixers intend to keep him as a stretch-four who can play alongside Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor, sources told ESPN's Marc Stein.

In Grant, the Thunder get an affordable piece with scads of athleticism and decent upside. Ilyasova was never going to be part of their long-term plan, and with an extra, laughably cheap year of Grant's services, they'll get a chance to see how he fits in with the new core they've locked up for the foreseeable future.

Grant, 22, averaged 9.7 points, 4.7, 1.8 assists, and 1.6 blocks in 77 games for the Sixers last season, taking steps toward refining his raw, unharnessed ability. He still hasn't shown much potential as a shooter, which could be an issue for a Thunder team already sorely wanting for floor-spacers.

Ilyasova - who came over as part of the offseason trade that sent out Serge Ibaka - provided that spacing in theory, but shot just 37.5 percent from the field and 25 percent from deep in three games with the Thunder, and they didn't appear to have much use for him otherwise.
