And, yes, THANK GOD Green is gone.
one of my buddies is known for making bold statements that always come back to bite him in the ass. about 5 years ago he once, in an overtly adamant manner, uttered the phrase "willie green is a scoring machine."
yeah, he didn't get any shit for that what so ever
I've hated him ever since he missed those free throws in the playoffs back in 2002 (or whatever year it was).0 -

I always heard this, but too bad he couldn't turn a good personality into a good ball player.0 -

For sure. Shitty players always seem to be good guys and the good players always seem to be shitty people.0 -

season starts tonight. I heard the game is being aired on comedy central.
same shit, different year. this team will be somewhere around 7-10 in the east. if they're lucky enough to get into the playoffs, they will be knocked out early. they need to establish an identity and get some semblence of direction for the future.
lot of people picking evan turner to be the biggest bust from the draft. that would certainly suck0 -
hmnn jeagler starts a sixers thread then says the nba sucks..
more like the sixers sucki post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......0 -

I think 3 of the 4 major sports leagues suck. MLB is by far the best product of the 4. the NBA is the worst, though roger goodell is trying his best to change that0 -

I preferred a big guy in the draft. 2 guards practically grow on trees...like first basemen in baseball.
we shall see. everything I've read has said how terrible turner was in the summer league and preseason.0 -

how many 2 guards have they drafted since iverson left?
my argument was that they're not in win-now mode. so they should have taken the guy with the most upside, not the most NBA ready.
cousins is gonna be an animal0 -

i hope he does well and has the best Ohio State career since Lucas? Jimmy Jackson had a solid productive career, Oden might be the next sam bowie, hopefully Turner does something solid.81 is now off the air0 -

there are not that many truly great 2 guards in the league. It's tough to find one that can score and defend.81 is now off the air0 -
