  • I want them in Jerusalem!! though think about a desert show in the Negev - that would be awesome too!
And of course, if it really happens - my home is open for you guys!

Oh please please please please please PLEASE!!!!
It's okay, you know I love you anyway
  • Amazing thread. Pearl Jam + Tel Aviv....can't even imagine.

    Talk about a true birthright...
  • Just imagining it almost brings me to tears...
I want to add that if it happens I personally have a tour of Isreal for anyone who wants to.

I'm too emotional right now, I can't study..!
Oh who cares about Uni... what I really need is PJ.

    PLEASE OH PLEASE play Israel!!

Beautiful country, beautiful people. I've been there 5 times, as my whole immediate family lives over there!

On behalf of my 8 cousins who reside there, most of which are PJ fans, they'd LOVE to see you play!

...Also gives me a great reason to visit again, I've been having Israel withdrawl since my last visit in 2006!

Planning (hoping) to be on Birthright over the summer... truth be told, if it does turn out Pearl Jam announces Israel as part of a European tour, I would consider staying in Israel and working on a kibbutz for a year or something. Does that mean I'm sick?
I miss Israel so much, and would be beyond thrilled to see Pearl Jam give them the show (shows) they deserve!
L'shana haba'ah, b'yerushalayim, v'tel aviv. Oh, playing near the Ramon Crater would be badass too, it'd be like a Gorge show

let me know what trip you're getting on. some of my jammer friends are planning on it this coming year as well. also, i know a lot of trip leaders/organizers so holler.

in terms of a TA show, holy jesus (hashem?) i'd be down. my sister and nephews live there and i haven't seen her in a couple years so a trip is due.

on a related hebrew note... does anyone else sing the Dirty Frank lyrics as "feeling good, feeling kol b'seder" ?

After missing my OZ - New Zealand roadtrip through illness , I'll be up for this show as part of my 2010 rt with a vengeance. As Elvis Costello might have said " Bump It Up " !!

Cool! I'm still not sure which trip I'll be going on... planning on going with a friend of mine, and probably wouldn't go without her, so the power isn't entirely in my hands. All I know is that I have no interest in seeing Israel from a religious perspective, and will be researching the trips to avoid that kind of crap at all costs... eight years of Jewish day school was enough attempted brainwashing for me
