    Glasto could happen I guess, the Download payment would off-set some of what they would lose out of from their normal fee by playing Glasto.

    Even though I got all excited at the prospect of PJ, Maiden, Rammstein and no doubt many other great bands over one weekend I think I'm sort of relieved in a way too. It would have been great fun but we were already trying to pull strings to get someone to take the girls for what would be 5 days for us and not even during school holidays. I'm still tempted by a day ticket for the Saturday though. Maiden were one of my big things before PJ, I think I must have seen them maybe 12 times? Anyone saving for a possible PJ US tour?
    Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    I'm saving for a US tour. A euro tour would be nice and cheaper but I want to be prepared for states as I see that more likely to happen. Planning on doing at least 5 shows, hopefully 10 8-)

    I'm saving for a tour. The US would have to involve a visit somewhere i wanted to visit, and would be more about going somewhere than just catching as many shows as possible in a specific time. Seattle and Vancouver across a week would be nice, perhaps a return to New York City, Boston or Philadelphia. Other than that, I can't think of anywhere as they'll not play Red Rocks!

    I still think a European tour is possible, as there were rumours circulating before the Download one got leaked, but I don't think it'll happen without festivals. They're looking to promote a new record which means hitting as many people as possible..

    A US tour? no. The fun about seeing Pearl Jam is seeing them with all the people. Thanks to seating arenas even if you get a group of you to go you can't all be together. I'd rather just take a holiday somewhere, see somewhere new and wait for the next euro tour which will probably be 2014 if not 2013.

    That is the major downer about a US tour, the whole seating thing and groups, though there's nothing to say you have to buy through Ten Club so you can get 4-6 of you together (assuming able to buy tickets).

    South America would be amazing, but that's one I don't reckon I'll ever do.

    Howdy peeps, it was nice to see the thread pick and be a bit more lively (and snuggly). Seems this is a place we return to when there is the prospect of live shows. Kind of amazing to think that a lot of the people I 'met' in this thread are now people I think of as some of my closest friends :)
    No wonder my heart was a little happier at the thought of a tour :D We'll get another at some point.

    They haven't even finished releasing the bootlegs of the last tour and we were all thinking/hoping of another... there's something kind of wrong right there! Am sure if there's another Europe tour we'll know about it just before Christmas as usual!
