Pearl Jam announced today that they will play a series of select European festival and headlining tour dates in June and July of 2010. The band's European dates kick off in Dublin, Ireland at the 02 Arena and close at the Optimus Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal.
Tickets for The O2 Dublin 22 June from €59.80 and for The Odyssey Belfast 23 June from £41.50 including booking fee on sale Friday 11th December at 9am nationwide
A special ticket pre-sale for the Dublin, Belfast, London and Berlin shows will take place for current members (as of Friday December 4, 2009) of Pearl Jam's Ten Club. This pre-sale begins Wednesday December 9, 2009. Visit http://www.pearljam.com for full details.

I hope the presale won't start immediately today (if there is a presale) because i won't have internet connection this evening. But I'm not worrying too much. Those are festivals dates, with plenty of tickets avaialable.

but I agree there has to be more shows...there is a nice gap between that Belgian and Portugal show. Plus, why come here last year and do 4 shows? They came to stir the fanbase and then return the following year to promote the album (and maybe EP release) with a full scale Euro Tour.
You would have expected a tweet, to make sure our memberships were up to date though. Weird.

So happy for my friends across the Pond, but hey guys, we MISS you too! When are you coming home? Perhaps an Autumn tour in the US? Would be nice. Understand rest is needed but what's one or two more cities after all this running round? We miss you, come home.

Disappointed that it's going to be another tour without a Scotland visit but Dublin, Belfast and London will do me nicely for my first PJ shows. Dublin 02 sounds like a top venue. Might even squeeze in Berlin or Nijmigen too. That's why we have credit cards!!
