    Thanks so much

    Ed's my apprentice! 8-)
  • Joe Walsh in NZ!!!

I sent him a Spin and he surprisingly sent me a Rip It Up back with the best note over that just made my day. I had a really shitty day yesterday and to come home to that was fantastic!

Also, there is a group of girls on facebook...we are all members of a group called PJ Touring Girls. We set up the group so we could share rooms and stuff, but the group has really become more than that. If you have something going on, you can receive more support than ever from these girls, some that I have never met.

I am amazed by the fans that this band has brought together.
  • oh god there's so many :? Here's just a few..

Chime from the UK - She was incredibly supportive and sent me a card when my Dad passed away earlier in the year. It wasn't the card so much as what she wrote in it. She's always there for me and we love her infinately :)

Dimitris from Greece - He's obviously been mentioned a few times as he's one of the most generous people to ever grace our forums, but when D came over for the tour in August, he brought presents for myself and Dave and was just so happy to meet us. His secret santa present to me this year was way more than I expected, very well thought through and surprised me with it's generosity. He's an invaluable addition to the PJ community.

Evolutionary, his girlfriend, Heineken Helen and her boyfriend from the UK - They all helped myself and audiodave get together (something I can never say thank you enough for), they've got drunk with us, been on holiday with us, let us kip on their sofa numerous times and even saved the day with their modes of transportation. Meet ups wouldn't be the same without the Midland crew; Much love for all of them.

dave grolsch from the UK - He met up with us and plied us with drink and good times at Download festival this year. He's generally a lovely bloke and a pleasure to be around. :)

adropinthepark from the USA and Wash_ from the UK - These two lovely ladies provided my non-Tenclub friends with tickets for the Manchester show in August, something they will never be able to say thanks for themselves so i'm saying it for them... Thanks girlies!! :D

SOLAT319 from the USA - She send me porn in the form of Spin magazine and I sent her Kerrang! She's really approachable and I can't wait to meet her next year :D

Small_Town_Beck from Canada - She's just awesome. I've never met her (can't wait to next year though!) but she's been so supportive to me and good friend across the miles, she also sent me a card when my Dad passed and has been a pillar of strength through adversity. Facebook wouldn't be the same without her pokes! :D
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Gosh...I can't sum up the love and passion Pearl Jammers have and show for one another. I guess I'm a prime example of being on the receiving end of so much love and aloha since 30 June.

Without having a "real" genetic family....I'm thankful for the Jamily....it's the best one I could ask for.

Too many names to mention....the very special one's indeed know who they are.

Ed, Stone, Mike, Jeff, Matt and Boom...and the people behind them...all the same generous souls.

    xx
