I bought  a newer version of Vs and it sounded terrible.  I think it was the boxed set version.  It was unlistenable.  Hopefully that version is better.

Reissue of Without a Net sounds very good. It’s not my favorite late Dead recordings but it’s well done.

It was $20 on clearance at Barnes & Noble. A no brainer pick up for a 3 LP set!

I already owned American II and IV, then V was on sale on Amazon for $13.90. Picked it up and promptly ordered I and III. Day after I posted these picks I decided to complete the American collection and ordered VI. Listening to all of them in order right now. While I get some might see V and VI being a bit of a posthumous cash grab, Im never going to complain about more material being released from this, his final era. Love what Rick Rubin was able to do with him.

I have his Unearthed box set and American Recordings on vinyl. Amazing stuff. That Unearthed is a beast of a box set.

Looping back to this as I’m just now finding time to spin this. Sounds really freakin’ fantastic. See why people were raving compared to the last pressing. It’s quiet, bold, punchy, and I’m noticing a few flourishes here and there that I’ve never heard before in 30 years of listening to VS. IMO it’s well worth the pickup.

apparently Under The Bridge is a song he basically forced the band to write/record/release. Incredible.

The new Rhino Hi Fi pressing of Paranoid sounds pretty damn beautiful. I wish I had the Vertigo pressing to compare. The numbered versions are sold out, but they will probably release the unnumbered soon.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was more still.  Rubin had said after June died all he(Cash) wanted to do was record.  I would imagine there is a bunch more to be released?

I'd like to read about that.  Frusciantes guitar work on that song is amazing.

@lexicondevil what is the difference between the numbered versions?
