Picked up 7 vintage vinyl, all of which were either $5.00 or $2.50. I was in that store for an hour and barely scratched the surface of what they had. I hope I have enough time to go tomorrow since I will be heading back to Dallas on Thursday. I picked up:

    Billy Joel - The Stranger
Paul Simon - Still Crazy After All These Years
    Paul Simon - Self Titled
    Split Enz - Waiata
    Steely Dan - Gaucho
Cat Stevens - Teaser and the Firecat

As you can tell, I only really got through the S's. They had crates and crates of "S" artists. :fp: Did see some other stuff I liked but it looked pretty scratched..hell for $2.50 I should just go ahead and get it and hope it sounds okay

Thanks man! This is a record store down in McAllen...first time browsing through there. I was surprised by how much stuff they had. Really hope I make it back down tomorrow..I was in a hurry and didn't get to look through everything :D And yes, I agree..I really do need to go to 1/2 price more often...they always have some great stuff..same with CD Source.

Damn you're lucky. That is a hard one to find, unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money.

It's amazing!!! I must've got one of the last boxes for a reasonable price. On a related note. Have you guys downloaded the Okonokos Project? Someone over at the MMJ board decided to compile all soundboard quality stuff available from the 2 shows that make up the Okonokos set. Pretty neat package and a decent consolation for those that don't wanna pay the collector's price for the vinyl, which by estimation is still pretty fair when you think about how awesome it is.

It really does, and it might be my favorite from Wilco. I don't think you can go wrong with their wax. The 4 that I own are all impeccable sounding.

Ha! No, I think I did well price-wise, New Adventures was GBP 22 + 4.50 postage. Monster was an absolute steal for Euro 15 + 4.45 postage! :D
