Very nice! I'm really digging Lou's solo stuff, right now. I just missed getting a copy of that single.

I got to RSD very late and only picked up two things..

    1. Bruce greatest hits (really nicely done)
    2. Clapton box set - what a deal.  Four Lps for $50 is a steal.  The record sounds great overall, but it's interesting that the early 80's stuff (Forever Man, Pretending, etc.) sound noticeably worse than the 60's, 70's and the end of the career.  I wonder if it was only available digitally.

Does anyone have the Prince box set 4Ever?  I'm not a huge fan, but like him enough to get that.  Curious on the audio quality.

DMB "Come Tomorrow" new album presale is up at the Warehouse.  Limited edition white vinyl for $21.  Or you can bundle it, which I did, which was (2) 4 album live shows with the white vinyl for $84.  So basically you are getting 10 records for $84, which is damn good these days. Also comes with a bonus live cd, so in all a nice deal.
There's also a cassette for sale, for those that like to punish themselves with bad audio.

How did you get it for $85? Thought it was $99.

I didn't get the one with the slip mat.  Plus I get 5% off for being a member.  Here's the link to the one without the slipmat.  I have an acrylic platter so all my slip mats are useless.

Just scored Phish "A Live One" 4LP set on eBay from get_importcds for $17.99!!!! It's going anywhere from $74.99 (Amazon) to $99.99 everywhere else online. They only had a few up for that price, but I was able to snag one. I don't think I'll ever get that good of a deal on a set ever again.

Paul Butterfield Blues Band, East West.  Found this at a Goodwill for $3  I thought that was a pretty good deal, and then I got it home and ran it through the Spin Clean and realized it's a first issue mono!  I gave it a spin and was blown away to hear this on something real rather than my crappy Edsel reissue vinyl.  In fact, despite a few clicks here and there, this warm analogue mono version sounds so good that while listening to the title track I found myself in tears.  Not that it's sad music- not at all!- but sometimes when music is this good I get oddly emotional and worked up.  What a record, what a lucky score! Thank you, vinyl gods!

Nope.  All bands I never listened to.

Thank you for the history lesson.  I have heard a riff or two from D Jr that I liked.
