They did. I logged in yesterday and had a bunch of new stuff added that I had bought on vinyl months ago.

That's cool... I was under the impression (judging from my own new purchases) that all new albums do come with an mp3 download already, so I'm not sure I see the point. At least, I haven't bought one that didn't yet ... Do they mean that an mp3 for older vinyl will be offered??? Because if THAT'S the case, that would be amazing! Or maybe are they doing this so that bands can stop including the mp3 download with their record, and depend on Amazon to do it for them? If so, that would suck and I hope bands don't go in that direction. I don't want Amazon to be in charge of providing that, because if I DON'T buy from Amazon, I get screwed.

If I'm missing something here, please let me know!

Not all new vinyl comes with a code. I hope they back date this like they did with the cd's.
Okay... but I haven't seen any new vinyl that didn't come with a code so far, so again, I'm just hoping that this doesn't make anyone think they should stop including that with the vinyl just to save a little money.

And some Lathe cut 7" from Notes and Bolts records. Its pretty cool. They only cut the amount of singles that are ordered up to about 100. They then put your name and number/100 on the sleeve.

At least they are making up for the signature debacle

    Yeah. That was lame.

I don't really care either way (I didn't buy it for his sig), but at least they will make it up to people.

    Phosphorescent - Muchacho
    M. Ward - Tranconfiguration of Vincent
Robert Pollard - Jack Sells The Cow
    Sic Alps - Napa Asylum
I need to buy that damn Phosphorescent album! How's it sounds?

Great album, love it when a guy can tell a great story with smart but simple lyrics. And the album has a great continuity and overall theme to it without being one dimensional The sound is great...very natural.

I'd say the cover art gives off the entire vibe of the album.

its somewhat similar because Lee was a contributing songwriter, but I find Lee brought alot of melodies and hooks to SY songs, especially in the last few albums, so I find it's got more of those than noise or off-beat tracks. There is definitely though some cool sounding songs with some cool guitar parts too ala SY

ah soundstagedirect, such a tease for me, so many great options, good sales at times too, but it's like 30-40 in shipping costs to me if I order like 4-5 records, and then it becomes uneconomic to purchase through there

Thanks, have you not heard this? You should man! Yeah, it's a second-hand original from 1990, this is the one with Fuckin' Up on it. After listening to this LOUD, I think this is my fave Neil album, soooo good! My preamp is kinda boring though....ha!

I also bought a NAD amplifier on Saturday and I am blown away by the sound of this thing. I used to just use an old Denon amp and I am hearing things that I have never heard in songs before. Amazing amp if anyone needs a new one: http://nadelectronics.com/products/hifi ... -Amplifier.

Some cd's and records that I have played so far include: Ray Lamontagne and the Pariah Dogs, Wilco A Ghost is Born, Counting Crows AAEA, Ray Lamontagne Till the Sun Turns Black (this sounded incredible), Pearl Jam Benaroya Hall.
