Ok... please, no one steal my idea.

I want to have a photo of Scott Stapp signed by Eddie Vedder.

...to replicate The Simpsons' comicbook guy's rare photo of Sean Connery signed by Roger Moore.

    Easy.

I would have them all sign Mike's super worn out looking electric that he ALWAYS uses for songs like Ledbetter. Now that would be awesome to have in any collection. I noticed that Mike has another that looks just like it that is in better looking shape so he could use that one and start to wear it out instead!
    ...
The way I see it, that '59 is part of Mike... he needs to keep that guitar. And that guitar needs to be played. All pre-CBS Fenders need to be played, not displayed.
    ...
How about a nice, brand new American Strat, instead?

  • hmmm, anything "singed" by the band, eh? well that's definitely more interesting than "signed" :D

I don't know maybe I'll be like cattle and have them singe my ass with a nice pj logo--or Eddie's hand-print :o
    oh for shame!!

nice recovery. I probably would have dropped it right into a wet spot on the floor under my seat.

was fortunate enough to have Ed sign a tambourine for me a year after he gave it to me, which was a real treat. i was lucky enough to receive this a couple of weeks ago (this was Mike's setlist from the 4th Philly show), although there isn't that much room left for more than a signature or two (not that i'm complaining):

And I'd have Eddie Vedder sign my babies forhead (Just like Ricky Bobby did it..)

this may seem odd to some... but if I had the chance, I'd ask them all to sign a Virginia Tech football helmet. I'm a VT grad and I still go to every home football game, and as many away games as I can. I always crank the PJ on the way to the game as my own way of getting fired up :) Pearl Jam's music and VT have been and always will be big parts of my life. I skipped my first day of sophomore year classes at VT to attend my first Pearl Jam show in 1998 when a friend was nice enough to give me a ticket the day before the show! Pearl Jam's music is also what I listened to when I needed to chill out and calm down after the April 16th shootings at VT. For me, Pearl Jam and VT have always gone together :)

    good choice ......
have you seen the colors of my fathers eyes
  • my white 7" jeremy vinyl with the picture of jeremy wrapped in the stars and stripes on the sleeve. but i would actually get the vinyl and not the cover signed. it was the first of many pj vinyls i've purchased and only for one english pound in a record fair, the guy didn't know what he was selling, it's worth £30+ at the moment.
that or my manchester evening news arena A5 poster from 2000 on the binaural tour.

Thanks man. I know the odds of me ever meeting the whole band with a football helmet in my hand is somewhere between slim and none, but when I read your original question, that was the one item that immediately popped into my head as my own perfect momento. That PJ-VT connection is what my little avatar is supposed to represent too, but I doubt anyone has ever picked up on it. Its a skull logo from the Riot Act album, but I photoshopped it to be Hokie maroon and orange :)
