    Yeah, this sucks
    There was something always very reassuring/relaxing when he opens a broadcast with good evening or good afternoon everyone. And people like Mushnick who complain about the home run calls take themselves too seriously. Home runs are supposed to be fun.

    I love the home run calls. My biggest complaint was just how he got so much wrong off the bat. 

    It was always so reassuring when Suzyn would say “…stepping up to the microphone is the voice of the New York Yankees, John sterling” “well, Suzyn, I thank you”
