    huh?
    They haven't been swept in a series of 3 or more games against an NL team since interleague games began. That's what was said during the game.
    That was the sixth time they were swept in a three-game interleague series and first at home. One of the previous instances was Sept. 1997 at Veterans Stadium against the Phillies.
    So I guess it was at home then.
    Well that still is impressive. No, I don't remember the 1997 Phillies sweep of the Yankees. That was a season to block out (like many others).

    Figured that would be the highlight with the 16 strikeout game by Schilling.

    Who becomes unemployed first? Boone or Biden? Time for someone else to step in for both, IMO.

    I can't imagine that Boone will survive a second collapse in 2 years.

    Rodon = awful.

    I guess he finally got taught by someone who knows and understands the game.

    Playing better lately. Stanton back, Schmidt & others coming back at some point, maybe they can pick it up again and get somewhat close to the level they were at to start the season. Tough task, because EVERYTHING was working back then. And I think Gil will be slowed down at some point, an innings thing. But he's been pitching better lately, so who knows.

    Haven't been to a game yet this year. Gotta get there at some point and rock my Mitchell & Ness road 1929 Babe Ruth jersey. It feels like a burlap sac lol, but it is awesome.

    Game of the year, stadium was as loud as some of those 2009 playoff games. Too bad the game was televised behind a paywall though.

    he was getting two at-bats and there was no chance he'd play once the game was delayed.
