Rodon is a bum. Should probably give him a standing ovation
Sign him to an 11 year contract first.

These are the 6 games they should have gone 6-0. Not 5-1 or 4-2.

He hit 10 between July 8-Aug 8. 95 AB. Which would put him on a pace to hit 65 in a full season

it might help mike that the yankees are often batting while getting their asses kicked (like last night).

Honestly, I think this one was worse.  Mets season has been over...this was the nail for the Yanks

losing 21-3 is much more palatable than choking up a 7-2 lead in the final two innings.

No. Just someone who came in at the right time of the rebuild. 5-6 years is usually how long it should take. Astros, Cubs, O's. You can't manage timely hitting.

Schumaker win pct as Marlins manger: .521
Mattingly win pct. as Marlins manager: .430

Mattingly's win pct. is 3rd lowest in franchise history, barely above Guillen at .426 and Redmond at .428.
Nobody in the baseball world is surprised that nobody has hired Mattingly since his long overdue firing.

He had offers. 2nd as I stated the team was on a rebuild the past 5 years. Unless your prospects come up and perform you're going to have losing seasons. Most of the prospects they've traded for were busts. How do you explain Hinch going from 100 wins in Houston to 90+ losses in Detroit or being just as bad in Arizona before he came to an Astros teams that was coming off a 6 year rebuild. And has one of the best analytics team in baseball. If the Mets hadn't imploded this season. The Marlins would be in 4th place.

Now he was given the option to leave but he wanted to stay and help develop the young players knowing it could ruin his record as a manager.

Maybe he can get elected to the Hall of Fame as a manager then since he wasn't nearly good enough as a player.
is a .430 win pct as a manager HoF worthy?

Good for a rebuilding team. They could've had multiple 100 loss seasons under a different manager.
