Still 3.5 from the 3rd WC spot. So I'm guessing they're all in
They should be selling, not buying. Not interested in watching a team eek into the wild card just to get decimated by whoever they'll play. This team can't even beat Colorado, one or two pickups before the deadline will do nothing. Been a real long time since I've seen a Yankee team this atrocious.
They don't have to buy. If Stanton, LeMahieu, and Rizzo play to the back of their baseball cards. That's like getting a new team
mike stanton is never again going to play like a $300m man.
If he hits 15-20 hrs this month. That's all they need
    15-20 HRs in a month?
    Wow.
So, like a 120 HR season pace?
    Sure, that's do-able for a sub-Mendoza washed-up hack.
    But it's doable.
I say this with all the kindness in my heart.
    You're delusional.

His best year he didn't hit 20 in a month.  (Close, though.)  The only way a fountain of youth type of resurgence is possible is if he goes Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens / cheaters approach to aging.
Otherwise, this will never happen for this guy.

If he's in his prime and hitting .197 with 14 HR, 35 RBI and a .705 OPS., you should be really concerned about what he looks like after his prime (which I presume begins right after his 20 home run month).

Yea. It was weird. They said he couldn't pitch. Then at 6pm he said he felt good to pitch but they decided he couldn't even though pitchers warm up 20 minutes before the game. All of a sudden comes in relief. I'm guessing this has something to do with it
