I agree but evens out with Sanchez only getting 4. I for sure thought he was headed for more. So Sanchez appeals and plays tonight/tomorrow, Romine takes his, yanks pay him for games missed in some way, and they aren't without a catcher at all?

Sounds like they both will appeal. Gonna be without a catcher for at least a game?

drilling a guy in the head was not cool.
6-6 game deep in a pennant race...no way that was intentional.
I was watching the game, and i don't think it was intentional either. But, under the circumstances, the umps had to toss him.

You are a professional ball player and you pitch for a living.

You have an area of 20" x 20" to throw at.

Mind you this is what you do for a living.

But you are having an off day and miss that 20x20 area by two feet...

    Sure

I'm sure you believe that Clemens accidentally through Piazzas bat AT him...

Its what i "think". No one knows for sure but Betances.

I do "think" that Clemens threw the bat at Piazza on purpose.

Before Hicks got hurt he was killing it.  He's doing good still.

Big fan of hicks. Feel like he is swinging out of his shoes though and harder than before

You think he'd be getting the off days if they were farther behind for the East? (And, also having a pretty decent lead in the WC too).

They probably would have done it with an actual off day and just have him miss one game instead of 2.

Well that was not good.  Pretty wild this is likely to end up a disappointing season given that expectations were so low and they have played fairly well.

On the right path for sure though.

I don't remember watching so many frustrating games in recent years. Excited to see where this team can go if they can grow and start winning these tight games.

Frustrating games are good though. Means we expect something out of them. Hasn't been the case for the last few years

He didn't go in exactly hot. There's a lot more to judge that the home run derby.
