This is a bizarre game. Unreal. If they can pull it out it will be the definition of stealing a game.

Logan should not be pitching to righties. Where the fuck is soriano?
  • Cliffy6745Cliffy6745 Posts: 33,723
Soriano has to be hurt. Wonderful

Glad soriano is getting paid $15 mil. Well done Levine. This game in Cory wades hands isn't going to end well.

Clay rapada, ladies and gentlemen. With the best reliever in the history of the game in the pen and a $15 million reliever MIA. I am pretty negative tonight

No reason to warm Mo up unless we grab the lead

I was writing that with both Mo and Soriano in mind before seeing Soriano warm up.

    YES IBANEZ!

    Hey finally a clutch hit
  • Bronx BombersBronx Bombers Posts: 2,208
That was predictable, at least with Cervilli you had some hope in that situation

    Raul!

I can't understand girardi not bringing soriano in earlier if he isn't hurt.

Michael Wilbon of ESPN on Twitter:

"Pardon me for laughing as Bobby V is down 7-1 going into the 9th...a guy w zero rings who takes shots at D Jeter is getting what he deserves"

He can be a bit annoying at times but I love this.

Chris Stewart may be the worst position player I have seen take a regular season at bat for the Yankees in my lifetime.

I have been girardis biggest defender around here but some of the decisions so far this year are mind boggling.

Interesting win but a win is a win and it's the first series win of the season.

They said he couldn't hit when they acquired him.

He should just leave the bat on his shoulder and lean into every pitch and hope for the best.

I thought as a former catcher he would have a much better feel for the game but his decision making has been very questionable and it's been that way since he took over.

5 Wild Pitches? I thought they traded AJ Burnett to the Pirates.

This little shake was from the Damon 6-6 day when it was 942 degrees out. Great game, great time. Luckily I had great, covered seats.

Soriano ripped a fingernail while warming up last night, which is why he never got into the game. I can't imagine that'll force him to miss more than a few days.

Jeter is killing it to start the season and that's what I like seeing from Granderson.
