    4 walks. I mean compared to what we expected. This is a great start. But that 1st inning could have gone bad if Grandy misplayed that ball or if Detroit didn't give up an out with the bunt.

    well so far they got him to balk and then get a big hit from montero, so Girardi made the right call now after being first guessed here.
