Honestly, I would think about moving Cervelli sooner than later. He does not really have a spot on the team long term unless it is stricly a back up catcher. He was never projected to be able to hit big league pitching and he is playing his ass off. I love watching him play but I also like selling high on a kid like that who is not going to be around forever.

I hear you, depending on the report you read, Girardi was not real worried. They knew he had soemthing going on and let him pitch today so that is good. Hopefully the MRI is just precautionary.
The MRI can't come back quick enough for me. Hopefully it's nothing serious. A 15 day DL would not be the end of the world, they have played great so far and the offense hasn't really clicked. A spot start or two from Ace or Mitre would not be the end of the world but any longer I will be worried.

Better to have those injuries against the Orioles in May than against the Red Sox and Rays in August.
