Yep, nothing like one game in May to judge a player on.

Gotcha, nope, no he didn't. No one on the team has over the past week or so. Been a rough stretch.

it happens in baseball. every team goes through it at some point in the season. its why making the playoffs in baseball is such a good accomplishment. its about the long haul not one night here and there.

Agreed, just hope they can get out of it sooner than later. Every team slumps, just have to limit them. Lots of people these days treat baseball like football and live and die with every game and its absurd.

it's what keeps the media industry alive in Boston and New York though.. that was the best I've seen Buchholz in person. It looked like the only pitches that weren't moving were the three pitches the Yankees had for hits in the fifth inning.

But it cracks me up. Last week when Jeter was slumping and during the never-ending discussion about it on sports talk radio, one guy wanted to do the following:

Acquire Jose Reyes, move Jeter to second, trade Cano to the Tigers for Justin Verlander.

It sure is. Just a frustrating run though. Yeah Buchholz was good, I haven't often seen pitches move that much. I remember one to Tex coming back over the plate specifically.

Ha, that is insane. Gotta love sports talk radio.

Damn, feel terrible for the dude but in my mind it's time for montero, at least after memorial day if he doesn't start hitting.

So now they're saying Posada is not retiring. But is in breach of contract for taking himself out of lineup. Dock his pay

According to person briefed on Posada's exchange with Girardi, Posada told mgr he was "insulted" about hitting 9th and "threw a hissy fit."

Jorge loves being a Yankee > anything. He's trying his best to help his team win. Today, due to back stiffness he wasn't able to do that
