I know of one person that did get it while in Philly. He missed the Saturday show due to being in the hospital. Last I heard he is doing better.

No flu but coming down with a cold. More to do with lack of sleep, eating junk food and drinking vodka for a few days. Back to work today and half my office is sick, a few people were sent home for the rest of the week.

Not blaming PPJDD...but flew home on a plane of hacking people.....went to work after 4 hours sleep and made it until 2:00pm.....feel like crap, and have to pay back co-workers for working for me so I could see all 4 shows!!!!!! Urghhhhhh the price we pay........where do I sign up to do it all again???????

Kinda makes you wonder why some idiots who have the flu and are coughing all over the place would go to the shows and get other people sick? What if one of you assholes sat next to a pregnant women or someone with other health issues and got them sick? Was it worth it to put someones life in danger to see a concert? I know its pearl jam and believe you me, I think they are the best thing since sliced bread but use your f'in head. I really hope everyone is ok and Im just being dramatic but some of you are plain idiots. Plus, on a side note, I love paying a lot of money for a plane ticket and then I get to sit next to another f'in moron who is hacking up a lung and gets the whole plane sick. The airlines should watch out for people getting on the planes and if you look really sick and are hacking a lung up, kick you off the fucking plane and make you fly stand by after your symptoms go away. This pandemic is gunna stick around as long as their are idiots that dont stay home when they are sick. Ahhh, feels good to vent.

Yeah, same here...Sunday had the usual post-show loss-of-voice, but then last night/this AM came the cough, aches, chills, and this afternoon/tonight the fever, but that has broken to below 100, for now...probably be back tonight or in the AM. I would have been more surprised if I DIDNT contract something from that giant steaming petri dish mass of humanity known as the pre-show Spectrum concourse. Would be sweet tho if the boot came out while I was home sick

I've been ridiculously sick since Philly. I doubt it's swine flu, but I've had a crazy fever, coughing, sneezing, extreme fatigue, body aches, chills, no appetite, diarrhea, etc. Quite nasty.

Definitely worth it, though! PHILLY 3! WOOO!!

Well I wasn't aware of that quote and just searched google to confirm it. I can't believe he said that. Like you said, who says that in the World Series? I can't turn on him though. He was too important to last year's Championship win. It'll take a few more years of being a pussy before I could hate him. But yeah...saying that in the media shows both mental and physical weakness.
