Yeah, the homeboy comment was a little ghetto. hahah. Game 6 and 7 should be good. Victorino is good. I like his tough play. Utley is a beast but whats with the greased up hair? He looks like he puts crisco in his hair? haha
I really loved the post from the guy (who I will not name) who was in the ER right before the show on Halloween because of his H1N1, and said he was on his way to the gig, to tough it out...what a selfish c*ck......

my throat started to hurt yesterday and is worse today with a light fever...whenever I get a cold it usually starts with a sore throat...I'm trying so hard to fight it off
before PJ I was at 3 of the Bruce shows so it looks like being in a crowd of 18000 six times in the past three weeks and less sleep than usual is catching up with me
Got it, not sure where, maybe eating the roast pork sandwich at Tony Lukes.
The last 3 hours I drove home with a 102 fever and it was the worse drive I ever experienced. And to the Gov and legislatures of Virginia, for closing the rest stops to save money, I say a big F*CK YOU.
but it worth it.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
ride"!

during night 4, my body told me it had enough, and by the time we got to the Eagle/Giants game, I knew I was in trouble!! I haven't had a cold this bad in years :-(

Awww ::hugs:: what we do to ourselves for this crazy life, right? I hope you've got some good cold medicine?
My fever got up to 104 last night but it seems to have almost disappeared this morning, along with the chills. Maybe it was a 24 hour thing? Now I'm left with the aches, headache and a boatload of phlegm. Philly Phlegm. Yum!

LOL!!! I'd do it all over again too :-) Sunday night was the worst for me...fever, chills, sneezing, sweating, coughing...i was pretty gross!
I am deathly ill right now too. NOT the swine flu, mostly a head cold with a mild fever. We need to come up with a cool word for over exhausting our selves the last couple of days. In NY at the NIN shows we called it NINfluenza. Some one more creative than me think of something.
Yep, I caught the NINfluenza at the LA shows. Rumor has it it was the shirts.

After the 4th show i started feeling ill. Last night i couldn't even get out of bed i was so cold and in pain. I can deal with the headache and body aches but the chills is the worst part me thinks. Nothing worse than freezing and not be able to stop it :( So is that what was going around in philly? H1N1?

I would too foxy I had the same thing happend, yesterday i was miserable and today it seems like its improved greatly, no more fever, and yesterday i could not bring my fever down to save my soul. I hope your right about the 24 hr thing..
WOW shocked to see all the sick comments from the concert. Started feeling under the weather sunday but did the Eastern State Penitentiary before heading home. Then for two days High Fever, random dizziness, burning eyes, phlegm and what felt like a 50lb weight on my chest whenever i took a breath. Still having the breathing issue but all else seems to be getting better. Philly Phlegm is vicious.
yup i got it as well...
Hit me hard and fast after philly was over and now on tamiflu. Feeling like crap although possible a little better this evening (fingers crossed going into the night). crazy how so many of us have come down with it or some sort of illness. Though as someone pointed out, ~18000 peeps will definitely expose us and 90% of the flu going around now is h1n1. Though it's odd cause usually takes 4-7 days for symptoms to show up. Perhaps it was the days of partying and screaming and having an utter blast that wore us down a bit. some peeps on facebook are calling it pearl jam plague.
I'd do it all again as well:)
get well everyone.

yeah thats weird!! i was thinking the same thing, cuz i literally started feeling sick right after the fourth show..Felt great during all the others.. maybe hanging out in the chilly rain made it incubate way faster? Plus im sure all the physical exhaustion we endured from the show made it way easier for viruses to sneak in.. Im hoping that by tomorrow i'll feel back to normal again.. Warm thoughts , tea and soup to you all. Feel better
I smoked multiple joints and sat next to someone who had the swine flu during night 2. I don't know how I'm not sick but I won't complain. Sorry to all the people who got H1N1
