night 3 was the most spectacular setlist i have ever been apart of...although the intimate venue shows like irving plaza and the beacon are on top of my list...i would have to say night 3 with in my tree, force of nature, present tense, untitled, mfc was by far the best night although i only went to 2, 3, and 4...thank you pearl jam for a memorable week...i will never forget week this for the rest fo my life

Well I was only at Three and four, to me the fourth night was the best. I didn't get fanclub seats for friday and got stuck in sec 403. The sound wasn't very good up there, I had trouble hearing Ed chat in between songs. I't didnt help that the people around me where more interested in getting hammered all night. The setlist friday night was awesome, my highlights where hold on (only song I hadn't heard before that night)Crazy Mary probably one of the best versions I have heard, and the Intensity of In hiding. Friday was an amazing show and I understand why people would choose that show. To me saturday was my favorite, and maybe my favorite show I have attended, have to wait to hear the boot to mull that one over. Had fanclub seats (104 row 1), it sounded alot better on the floor. The energy was there from the crowd, especially for the length of the show. What can I say, Bugs, out of my mind, pilate, and sweet lew definitley sealed it for me. I cant wait for the boots I will be picking up all four
I was at 3 and 4 which were both incredible, and I really wish I was at Night 1 too. Night 2 does not fit in with the others IMHO.
I was only at shows 3 & 4. Not being from Philly I give a slight edge to night 3, but I feel the same way. I would have liked to have seen night 1 too . I was suppose to go to night 2 but a wallet was misplaced (10c tickets) & we had to call off the trip. Not really that pissed off that I missed night 2.
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)
What You Giving
I suggest you step out on your Porch.
Run away my son. See it all. Oh, See the World!
I was at all 4 and each show was great and unique in it's own way. I do agree that the crowd Friday night was the loudest. But Saturday's setlist had a little something for everyone. It had the rarities for the those who like that, it had plenty off of Backspacer, and it had all of the major hits you could think of for those who only like to hear the hits.
Out of the two we attended......shows 3/4 .......I would say that 3 (Friday) takes the cake. Perfect setlist, great energy in the building.
Pesonally Saturday ended up being the most frustrating / dissapointing show I have ever attended.........no fault of the band, they were freaking amazing and had great stamina.
Between my experiences at the venue itself and the rude people I ran into my mind just could not even focus on the show......

I really don't post much. I was there all four nights and by the end......yes I was PEARL JAMMED, but here's my opinion.
Tie Night 3 and 4
I was up in the 300's on night 3 with the "common folk", but the setlist was really, really strong...If I were to buy one boot this would be it.
Night 4 was great to be at but alot of shit went down technically that I am sure the band wasn't happy about (Got Some was a mess). There was alot of funny banter as well as the crowd being electric with all of the out of towners in for the show. The setlist was pretty good I guess, and the spectacle itself made it a tie. Bugs was cool.... Rats was a surprise and whip it was pretty funny......This show was great to be at, and I wouldn't have traded it for anything......and my seats were great..but the night 3 boot may be better.....just for the badass setlist (Present Tense, Parting Ways, Tree, etc)
Night 2 with the can-can chick was funny and was a solid show
Night 1 was only about 13000 people there....the band played for a pretty long time considerring the show wasn't sold out....and as always RVM was killer.....but when the show ended there was a bit of an eerie silence as soon as the last song ended....
One side note*** I was there in 2003 and the crowd on that Monday night was blazing....I remember the roar in btwn Crazy Mary and STBC .....and It was like nothing I have ever heard before and if you listen to the boot you will remember!, I was like an explosion..... But there was also a 2.5 year lull between the last time PJ played Camden (2000) and Philly (April, 2003)...........Just my honest two cents
...this was UNBEARABLY TOUGH! honestly, i can't even really decide that very clearly. i'd be really curious to see if i can make a clearer (or different) opinion when i listen back to the boots. when i think in terms of my personal fun and setlist enjoyment it is incredibly hard to pick a winner. night 4 just had that epic feeling to it though. night 3 did too though, and naturally. hmm very tough. i'll give night 4 the SLIGHT edge though.
3.) NIGHT 1 & 2 TIED
...truly CANNOT make a decision here. also 2 AMAZING shows! the first night's setlist had a bit of an edge on night 2 definitely, even thought night 2's was still unreal. but in the same token, night 2's crowd was much better and the band energy was much better. i had more fun at night 2. it falls in as a PERFECT tie for me. i don't think i could ever put one of these two over the other. just me ..
if anyone is curious my seats went as so:
night 1 - section 217 row 18
night 2 - section 218 row 21
night 3 - section 223 row 9 (really row 4 directly to the side of mike)
night 4 - section 217 row 10 (really row 5 or 6 directly to the side of stone)
great seats every night! what an experience! i want more!! AHHH! BOOTS COME NOW!

no question.
night 1 was as good as it gets.
i couldnt have asked for anything more.
as each night unfolded, they (the band and the setlists) just KEPT GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!
i couldnt believe it.
they were all SOO good and SOO unique.
it was exactly the way i had hoped
