I love this kind of statistical excercise. Like many of you I keep a list of every song I've seen live and how many times. So I used the list in the first post to deduce what I have yet to see. I've been to 16 shows. So..............which of these should I have seen based on that many shows? Just wondering what I had high odds to see and haven't yet....

If they wanted to play every song on this list (COVERS EXCLUDED), they'd have to play 108 unique songs over the next three nights.
I just don't see that happening, but man do I hope I'm wrong.
[edited... change 110 to 108... removed Pry To and Arc)
Actually it's almost quite realistic when you factor that it's only 36 songs each night that they would have to play.
On the other hand, do they remember how to play every single one of those songs is the real question. If they end up playing their "full" catalog I will definitely be picking up all 4 boots just like I did with Mansfield back in '03 because to me that is what would make this 4 show run "unique".
way to copy and paste my original thread and out-do me.. congrats!
I didn't copy one stinkin' character of your post. I copied the tracks from the PJ web site and then edited out the fluff like Pry To, etc. If I had seen your post, I wouldn't have gone to all this trouble.
Ed's a jokester. I wouldn't take that comment seriously.
actually he said again tonight that he wants to clarify - they're not going to play every song they know, but every song on their albums. the 2am thing sounded like a joking tone but seemed pretty dead serious tonight!
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
Although this isnt normal to say regarding with PJ setlists but with all the stats and the colours its getting quite obvious and predictable what to expect on Saturday
Man! This is unbelievable...
4 bootlegs is a MUST HAVE!

They tagged Little Wing onto Yellow Ledbetter last night, they probably won't play it again so does that warrant a change of colour?
Anyone else think they'll close night 4 with Alive? My vote would have gone to RITFW with everyone on stage but they played that on night 1...

In the parking lot yesterday my husband, who likes to claim that we all are just a little bit nutty with our PJ obsessions, pulled out a sheet of paper, wrote down all of the band's songs, and started checking off what already had been performed. Since he was sure that they would not play songs like "Push Me, Pull Me," I will need to check in with him today and see if his predictions have changed.
Our current prediction, though, is that PJ will close Friday night with "Baba O'Riley," and Saturday night with a reverse Mamasan trilogy. We expected a slower opener last night, but after "Animal" who knows what to expect. I am guessing Saturday will open with "Last Exit."
Whether they actually play every song or not, many great songs remain to be played -- cannot wait.
All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.
for shows three and four, they still have 59 songs to cover in order to have played all songs from their 9 Studio albums. That means 29.5 songs per night. This could easily be accomplished.
But if they're planning on playing all the b-sides & covers from the list on Page 1 of this thread, that brings the total to 88 songs left to play, or 44 per night. This is definitely the more ambitious goal, but could also be accomplished, & Ed will need some serious "throat-coat", along with the rest of the band receiving caffeine IV's throughout, in order to pull it off.
Do you think Man of the Hour will be played? I love that song, but it is not on an album..with the exception of the greatest hits CD. So far Philly I & II have been a blast.
I dunno... I'm starting to lose faith... There are just too many unrehearsed rarities to be played in just two nights:
Help Help
Can't Keep
Get Right
Cropduster
All Or None
Oceans
Habit
Pilate
Thin Air
plus all the other semi-rare stuff like Of The Girl, Love Boat Captain, Light Years, Smile, Tremor Christ, etc

I can't believe they only played TWO off Ten... No Evenflow and No Alive for the second show of the tour. Those people in Philly are so lucky!
