Wow, all these east coast burgs like Philadelphia really do have an inferiority complex when it comes to the Big Apple, don't they ? It's understandable. But sad.

    I couldn't agree more....
lets face it, you can't blame Phil. for having a Napolean complex when it comes to NYC.....
New York City is the greatest city in the entire world, Philly is, just Philly...

I disagree. NYC is nice to visit but I can't imagine living there. It's so dirty and overpopulated.

    stereotype
A stereotype is used to catergorize a group of people. People don't understand that type of person, so they put them into classifications, thinking that everyone who is that needs to be like that, or anyone who acts like their classifications is one.

    you're just wrong here.
Guillianni cleaned all that shit up.

Well, there's the downside to being a Yankees fan: having something in common and being associated with Guillianni. :(

In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."

well, explain yourself man. i would love to know how the defending world champs who match up real well agains the yanks have "no shot" at beating them. what do you have? anything to base this on? .......well other than the they just "played the rays" last year when the yankees didnt even make the playoffs argument  . eitherway, last year was last year. that argument makes no sense what so ever.

Seriously, this is ridiculous..I hate both of these teams equally, and who gives a fucking shit...but to compare Philadelphia and New York City on any level is quite the stretch..and this notion that NYC pizza is not good pretty much sums up how idiotic this all is..

It's a nightmare scenario for me, but to say the Phills have no shot is ridiculous, though an opinion nonetheless..go Mets..
