Well after the angels take the Yankees to a game 7 and finally lose the Yankees will have wasted their pitchers. I can't wait till this week. Pearl Jam shows Wed, Fri, Sat, Phillies Yanks Wed Thur, Sat, Sun, Phillies beat Giants on Sunday. All of Philadelphia, Get your New York Sucks chants ready. And you know Eddie and the boys are gonna be pulling for the Good Guys, the phils. After all Raul Ibanez has been comin out to PJ all year. New Yorkers go home

    Sorry, but the Phils have no shot at beating the Yankees or the Angels. They played a young Rays team last year and these 2 teams are way to powerful.

    Yeah okay. Whatever you say. The Phils beat a Rays team that beat the rest of the American League including the Red Sox and did the Yanks even make it? This phils team has won 16 of their last 20 playoff games and aint no joke. The Yankees. We beat C.C. twice last year, A.J. Burnett loser with the Marlins still a loser and Pettite, c'mon you cheater. Your lineup will suffer when there's no DH. Go PHils

    second, Phillies will whoop whatever team is there


    and third, the Yankees do suck
    In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK.     -Well if we're talking about last year, the Yanks didn't make the playoffs and the Angels were knocked out in the divisional round. So who cares about who the Phillies played in the World Series last year?

    Just bustin balls, but Traffic? Hell the SureKill gets backed up with just Disney on Ice at the Wachovia Center!

    And C.C. doesn't have the workload he had last year and Matsui is not the Yanks top offensive producer. The teams will match up pretty well in my opinion if the Yanks close out the Angels of whatever city in CA. Could make for a very good World Series, a Jersey Turnpike Series. I'm a Yankees fan, but respect what the Phils have done, with exception of J-Roll, he bugs me for some reason.

    Are you saying the Eagles the team that lost to the Raiders are going to beat the Giants? Anyway every team from Philthadelphia sucks, especially the Flyers. My favorite moment in NHL history is when the Devils came back from 3-1 and beat the Flyers for the ECF and Stevens pretty much ended Lindros' career. :lol:

    So...the Rays didn't over achieve last year? I'm not trying to start shit. I'm just saying the AL is a far superior league, and the best team doesn't always win. If the Phils win congrats, but I don't think they will. They probably are better this year than last, but so won't their competition. You voiced your opinion and I expressed mine.     These guys really are not as tough as they think they are. There a clowns in every fanbase that like to start trouble the only difference is Philly fans are proud of those fools.

    RAUUUUUUUUUUUUUL!!!!! Ok, its my 1st post so I better bring more to the table....

    As i die hard Phillies fan, its not an inferiority complex....this very well could be the golden age of baseball in Philly.....years of phutility, 1st team to 10,000 losses, only 1 title in 125+ seasons before last year...so let us puff out our chests. For most of my 37 years, being a Phillies fan is like having blue balls my whole life..this week is the pefect storm if like myself, you love the Phillies AND PEARL JAM...does it get any better???

    ANd the whole snowballs at Santa Claus thing, etc is pretty tired.....how long ago? That happended in the late '60s...every city has thier knuckleheads, no more-no less in Philly....

    P.S. Yankees suck (not really, but for the next 2 weeks they will!)
