Lol, i just re read the title, how could PJ share the stage with a band you killed :P

Well if we being realistic, probably R.E.M or AIC.

THE STOOGES, THE STOOGES, THE STOOGES,

iggy pop opened the first show i went to.

i always thought it'd be cool to have them do a split tour with the tragically hip... pj could open for the hip in canada and the hip could return the favor in the states. rem would be a good match too i think.

The one that would've been awesome would've been the Clash. But I'm not going into fanciful lists including dead people. I'm just going to go for a whole day at a festival.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band (3 hours)
    Pearl Jam (3 hours)
Neil Young & Crazy Horse (2 hours)
    Rancid (1 hour 30)
    Gaslight Anthem (1 hour 30)

And free bootlegs for all that were still standing at the end!
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits

I always told myself if pearl jam and widespread panic were on the same bill I'd be there in a heartbeat...but I wasn't. Does bonnaroo count though?

With Brad Klausen & Alex Gray working side by side on an amazing poster for that night! 8-)

Wow, I wasn't expecting this answer 6 posts in! Still about 6 posts too late! My gosh, I can't fathom how much cash I would shell out to see this show.

Bad Religion was pretty freaking close to perfect. I couldn't believe it when I showed up at the Chicago show and realized Bad Religion was opening. I was bouncing I was so excited.

Though I have to admit it wasn't ideal to see Bad Religion as an opening band in a giant arena.

That would kick so much ass that the places they play at would collapse from the greatness of the two bands. Both bands with energetic front men, awesome guitarists, awesome bassists, and of course, awesome drummers. Have Mike come out and do the solo for Killing in the Name.

I know Jack White is with Dead Weather now where he has really teamed up with his female counterpart all good
    but
I'd like to see an evening of Jack White joins Pearl Jam
House of Blues/ Hard Rock kind of thing
They would bring it- Ed and Jack together up there- voices would compliment and Jack would just take turns playing everything
    so cool

I totally agree!!! Although they are completely different styles of music entirely I would do whatever it took to see these two bands play together.

My other "dream bill" would be PJ & Ben Harper....which I've had the pleasure of experiencing twice now! Once in '95 and in San Diego this year.

Other than TBC and BH I would say KOL since I didn't get a chance to see them when they were the supporting act for PJ a few years back (although I think the corporate machine has made them a little more undesirable lately).
